I would like to search for beatmaps that contain both the words "eroge" AND "chordjack".

However when I type "eroge chordjack" into the search bar, I get beatmaps that contain either "eroge" OR "chordjack"

I want to be able to find beatmaps that contain both "eroge" and "chordjack"

Is it possible for me to use boolean functions to filter out beatmaps?

wiki/en/Beatmap_search

I have tried looking at the wiki page above, but no such boolean functions were mentioned

You add a ; between the two "name" "name" :3

As far as I know, no, it is not possible for freeform textual filters. The freeform text filters are always OR / whatever elasticsearch decides it to be internally, and the keyword filters (bpm> and such) are always AND.

[citation needed]

Literally takes 5 seconds even for a non-dev to check that that does absolutely nothing.

Literally worked for me...

I might be stupid and missing something important here, but from what I can see, it worked

Like half of the results on your screenshot only fit the "chordjack" criteria and not the other.

beatmapsets/946563#mania/4575093
beatmapsets/992889#mania/2076382
beatmapsets/1005234#mania/2103860

None of the above have the other search term anywhere in tags.

And yet, this is the amount of "normal" eroge songs
One ranked compilation, and one that is only named "eroge"

Ok now it's just weird, hold on
How does relevance work?
Any map status and the most "relevant maps" are graveyards...

[img]not important anymore :f[img]

Ok I give up
";" just brakes the search

Unfortunately, the beatmaps listed are eroge or chordjacks

The first map called Eroge Songs Compilation does contain the keyword "eroge" but doesn't have "chordjack" mentioned

I'm trying to look for beatmaps that contains both "eroge" and "chordjacks"
Forgot to mention that I had my search bar filtered for mania maps only

  1. eroge chordjacks
  2. "eroge";"chordjack"
  3. "eroge" "chordjack"
I've tested 3 of these keywords mentioned above and noticed that "eroge" "chordjack" -- without the ; -- does seem to yield the most accurate results for beatmaps. There are still some maps that don't contain both of the keywords but again, it does seem to be the most accurate
