Crayon Shin Chan is not banned in India anymore.

The adult references and languages are toned town a little.

As a kids' channel, Hungama TV once received a number of complaints about one of its shows, Shinchan, which is actually meant as an adult show in Japan. Several sources say that guardians complained against hosting this program, because, according to their claim, children learned bad habit and abusing words from this serial.

As a result, the said program, Shinchan, was stopped telecasting. This, in turn, turned the fans of Shinchan disappointed towards Hungama TV and wanted a re-telecast of Shinchan. The period when Shinchan was stopped was utilized to remove scenes and languages that would probably be harmful to children. This program was again telecast on Hungama TV. Thus the channel remained as popular as before.

This map has been deleted on the request of its creator. It is no longer available.

Lol, i remember the show being on Dutch television, on a TV channel for kids.
I always watched it, and I was like 10 years old back then xD
Now to think of it... It's kind of wrong showing it to kids~ but who cares, it was fun program :D

Yes. That is a peace of work that is far to offensive for that country.

Some cases should do, some cases should not.
But here, almost all cases do ;__;

Include stupid cases like censored beer, alcohol drinks, cigarettes, guns, knives, even censored the alcohol's brands.

Its censorship is so easily noticeable lol

How do you not know Shin Chan?

Oh wait, I'm guessing it being popular in India≠ being popular in other countries.

n.b: The anime is good for Adults with the mindset of kids under 10,
Due to the characters being mostly children.
Scyla
not for me then
Julian_Kaiser
What's funny is that children actually did try to mimic the behaviour of shin chan.
Which is why led to the censorship.
Scyla
I watched Doraemon but didn't try to mimic him
that's why it isn't banned in Philippines

Nothing wrong with Doraemon, no foul language involved. Unlike Shin Chan where even the (fictional?)brand names of Alcohol bottles had to be censored. Even the scenes where Alcohol was drunk had to be cut off from Shin Chan.

I don't recall a single scene from Nobita where foul language or alcohol was involved, nor some essences of nudity.

Ah, I remember that, a lot of innuendo but at the same time pretty childish.
