This is a 2v2 double elimination tournament, with teams of up to 4 players. Teams will first play in a qualifier round to qualify for the bracket stage.
Tournament matches will use ScoreV2 and NF and permit touchscreen with no score penalty.
Players first sign up individually and then form teams with other players who attend the same school.
Schools may have a secondary (B) team if they have 4 or more registrants.
Schools may have a tertiary (C) team if they have 9 or more registrants. A university may not have 3 teams in the same tier.
s!CL will be split up into an upper (T1) and lower tier (T2) running as concurrent tournaments. Team eligibility is decided by the average BWS pp of the two highest ranked team members.
Teams compete in T1 if this number is 8300 pp or higher.
Effective BWS for pp will be used.
32 teams will enter the bracket stage from each tier.
Each school may have three teams overall, with a maximum of two teams in one tier
Each year, s!CL will run a Fall split and a Winter split, followed by a single BO15 Championship Match between the winning team of the two splits.
Production staff (streamers, commentators, & graphics) are eligible to participate as players in the tournament.
Knocked out players are allowed to apply to other roles (by contacting the hosts).

Individual registration opens – August 31st - 20 UTC
Individual registration ends, Team registration opens – September 15th at 23:59 UTC
Team rosters locked – September 26th at 23:59 UTC
Qualifiers – September 30th weekend
Start of Bracket – October 7th weekend
Grand Finals – November 11th weekend

(Tentative and assuming Qualifiers -> Round of 32)

Both tiers will have the same prizes except T1, with T1 brackets will be badged again.:

First Place: $80 split across all members, Profile Banner, Medal^, Trophy^, & Badge (T1 only for badge, pending)
Second Place: $60 split across all members + Profile Banner, Medal^
Third Place: $20 split across all members + Profile Banner, Medal^

^ - While we're doing physical prizes for the first time, there's a chance that the prizes won't go through. Alternative compensations will be considered if necessary.
