⠀
- KISS is a suiji-style tournament in which signups are in duos.
- Each duo will be randomly assigned to a team of 6 based off of the duos seed.
- The duo seeds' will be decided by highest rank between the players in the duo.
- On signup, the duos must have a MINIMUM average rank of 500 using the formula BWS Rank = rank^(0.9937^(badges^2)).
- Both players' average rank must be equal to / below rank 500 by the time registrations end. e.g. 501 avg. is ok, 499 avg. is not.
- Both players' in the duo will play through the qualifiers pool once.
- Qualifier results will NOT affect seeding when being chosen for a team, it will affect the overall teams seed once the team is chosen.
- This tournament will be double-elimination, meaning there is a losers bracket.
- The top 48 duos from qualifiers will advance into the team selection stage and will be able to be picked into the bracket stage.
- The map pooling system for this tournament will be very experimental.
- Each pool will be separated based on skill-type rather than mod-group.
- Each skill group will have different win conditions and rules to their respective group.
- The pool is split into;
- Aim
- Tapping
- Reading - By dividing the mappool into these 3 sections, it allows the respective skills to be tested more appropriately.
- Each section will have it's slots, much like common pooling, which correspond to a certain sub-skill.
- By giving each section its own rules & win conditions, it means, although there will be overlapping skillsets, the main focus of each slot will be undisputable.
- Within each group - there are different rulesets which will give a more enjoyable experience & accurate representation of the skill group
Tapping - Each map will be accuracy-based win condition, mod is forced.
Reading - Mod is forced, however, EZ is optional and will have a custom multiplier depending on the map.
- All players must join the discord.
- Each match will be 3v3.
- There will be teams of 6 which are made up of;
-1x A seed duo
-1x B seed duo
-1x C seed duo - only one player per each seed can play in the match at any given time.
- All matches will receive a default schedule.
- Teams are free to discuss and reschedule their matches.
- Should two teams be unable to come to a conclusive time, a member of staff will set a solid time in which the match will be held.
- The referee will create the lobby 10 - 15 minutes prior to the match and will invite the captain of each team, who will be responsible for inviting the rest of their team.
- Should the captain be unresponsive, another player will be contacted, and will then be responsible for inviting the rest of the team.
- If a team fails to show up with enough players 15 minutes after the set match time without notifying a referee, said team will be forced to forfeit the match.
- At the start of the match, both captains will roll. The winner of the roll will pick either ban first & pick second or ban second & pick first.
- Players' may only get host for warmups.
- Warmups must not exceed 4 minutes in length.
- Qualifiers will be played in a pre-determined order.
- The qualifiers pool will be played through once by both players'
- The qualifier results will be used to determine the seed of the team not the duo
- Bracket stage will decide matchups based on a first to last seeding order.
- Teams have 2 bans throughout every stage.
- Failed scores will count.
