Intro
The Rutgers Rhythm Games Club is happy to announce that we will continue hosting monthly one day tournaments for the public! These tournaments will primarily be to involve Rutgers University students, as well as the public, into the osu! tournament scene.
General Information
-ALL communication after tournament details are announced will be made through Discord in the official Rutgers Rhythm Games Club server. All announcements will be made using the respective @osu!Monthly Div 1 and @osu!Monthly Div 2 roles.
-Being more than 10 minutes late to a match will result in immediate disqualification.
-Unsportsmanlike or toxic behavior will result in penalties or disqualification.
-By participating, you consent to have your gameplay shown on stream (and should act accordingly if that is the case)

Tournament Information
***This is a one-day tournament. All rounds will be played in the course of a day.
***Ranks 50k-99,999 can enter Division 1, ranks 100k-500k can enter Division 2
-Format: osu!standard, 1v1, Team Vs, single elimination (3rd/4th will have a tiebreaker using finals rules)
-Player Cap: 64 per division
-Rank Cap: Div 1: #50,000, Div 2: #100,000 at screening.
-Default Mods: No Fail (NF) and ScoreV2 (V2)
-FM Mods: You must have at least Hidden (HD) or Hard Rock (HR), and you are permitted to use both. Other mods (Easy [EZ], Flashlight [FL], etc.) are not permitted

Tournament Procedures
Seeding
Seeding will be based on BWS, and going over the rank limit with BWS means you can still enter the tournament). The BWS formula is rank^(0.9937^(badges^2)), so the more badges you have, the higher your rank is weighted.Round Procedures

RO64 & RO32 Procedure
1. Create a multiplayer lobby using the command !mp make RGC2: (YourUsername) vs (OpponentUsername)2. Click on the match history link that appears in the multiplayer chat when the room is made. You will submit this after your match as proof for the scores so there is no cheating. Make sure to save the link before the match starts in a web browser.
3. Invite the other player using !mp invite OpponentUsername
4. Immediately enable free mods, and change the lobby settings to Team VS and ScoreV2. Also ALWAYS use No Fail (NF) when playing each round.
5. Follow steps 2 and onward of the "Top 16 and Onwards" procedure below
6. Submit the multiplayer match history to a referee in the respective result links channel in the RU RGC Discord.
7. Type !mp close to close the lobby.
8. Keep an eye out for your next match if it is RO32
Top 16 and Onwards Procedure
1. A referee will create a room and invite both players.2. Use !roll to determine map ban order
3. Winner of !roll bans the first map
4. Loser of !roll bans the second map
5. (Finals Only) Repeat steps 3-4 for the second ban
6. Loser of !roll picks the first map to be played, with picks alternating each song

All round times are located on the main sheet.
Note that RU students will have an extra half a day to register to ensure members of the RU RGC club can participate. This has not hindered the public from entering in previous iterations of the event.
