Hello and welcome back to the 2nd season of o!AT and its 12th iteration! As you know, each of our tourneys now features a unique gimmick of some sort with the 11th installment containing only technical maps in its pools. This time we’re back with the alternate mapping only gimmick. As usual, to win a point you have to out-acc your opponent. We hope that you will enjoy your stay for the duration of o!AT12 and wish you good luck!

  1. This is a 1v1 osu! standard tournament
  2. Rank range is 10k-35k
  3. Double elimination
  4. Pool structure, different to the other tournaments, as stated in the About section (alt only in this case)
  5. ScoreV2 with points decided by acc (in case of both players finishing the map with the same acc, point will be given to the player with the most score)
  6. No rank buffer
  7. BWS will be applied
  8. BWS formula is as follows: rank^(0.99^(badges^2))
  9. Pending badges will not be counted, but if you will receive a badge in your profile before registration ends, it will be counted as well
  10. There will be no screening process as the tournament is unbadged
  11. Be respectful towards all of the people participating in this tournament, be it staff or players
  12. No staff is allowed to play in the tournament besides streamers and commentators
  13. The final word regarding any problems goes to the host, do not hesitate to message me on discord: Prade#3404

  1. You should join the tournament discord server so you can participate and get all the info regarding the tournament
  2. There is no Freemod section in the pools
  3. Double-banning the same mod is prohibited (except for NM)
  4. Every map will be played with NF
  5. Tiebrakers will be played with freemod rule applied, but players can choose not to pick any mods if they don’t want to
  6. The failed scores count (in case NF is forgotten)

QUALIFIERS PROCEDURE

  1. You should join one of the provided qualifier lobbies or ask for an extra lobby for your preferred time (e.g. if there is no lobby for your preferred time or if a provided lobby is full and you want to play at the same time)
  2. The referee assigned to your lobby will send you an invite ~5 minutes before the lobby starts
  3. Once you will get into the lobby, you will play all the maps in order of the mappool ONCE

MATCH PROCEDURE

  1. If there is no referee assigned to your match or if the referee does not invite you, do not hesitate to ping referee role or host to find you one
  2. The referee assigned to your match will send you an invite ~5 minutes before the match starts
  3. In case of a player not showing up for 15 minutes after the scheduled time, the match can be either rescheduled or won automatically by another player who showed up – it’s up to the said player to decide, if both did not show up, the match will be rescheduled for another time
  4. The match will go as follows: Rolls, Bans and Picks (no warmup included)
  5. Players will roll and the winner of the roll then chooses one of 2 options:

Pick a warmup first, ban second, and pick first.

Pick a warmup second, ban first, and pick second.
  6. Picks will alternate between the two players
  7. If a player will not be able to choose a pick in 2 minutes, the pick option will be given to his opponent without changing the order (basically two picks in a row for one player).
  8. Starting from Quaterfinals stage, each of the players will have 2 bans and bans will go in A-B-A-B order.
  9. If a player disconnects within the first 30 seconds of the map, the map will be aborted. It can be used once in the match.
  10. Regarding the Tiebrakers: each of the players should DM the referee the tiebraker map that they want to ban.
  11. In case of both players banning the same map, the referee will roll to decide a ban from the 2 remaining tiebraker maps.
  12. The match structures are as follows:

    Round of 64 - BO7, 1 ban

    Round of 32 - BO9, 1 ban

    Round of 16 - BO9, 1 ban

    Quaterfinals - BO11, 2 bans

    Semifinals - BO11, 2 bans

    Finals - BO13, 2 bans

    Grand Finals - BO13, 2 bans

  1. Registration Phase: 24.12 - 09.01 (23:59 UTC)
  2. Qualifiers: 15.01 - 16.01
  3. RO32: 22.01 - 23.01
  4. RO16: 29.01 - 30.01
  5. Quarter Finals: 05.02 - 06.02
  6. Semi Finals: 12.02 - 13.02
  7. Finals: 19.02 - 20.02
  8. Grand Finals: 26.02 - 27.02

If the number of players attending the qualifiers will be higher or equal to 100(80?) a round of 64 is likely to occur, meaning the tournament will be 1 week longer, so be aware of that

If we will have less than 32 players signed up/played in the qualifiers, the schedule will be shifted by 1 week earlier for each stage after the qualifiers.

*All times are given in UTC

  1. 1st place: 4 months of supporter + banner (maybe)
  2. 2nd place: 2 months of supporter + banner (maybe)
  3. 3rd place: 1 months of supporter + banner (maybe)
