Qualifiers Procedure
- Referees will invite all players into their qualifier lobby
- Maps in the map pool are played once in order
- Players may additionally pick HD on any map outside of the HD pool. HD Scores outside of the HD Pool or TB get multiplied by 0.9. Players are also free to pick NF if they want to, the HD pool will have HDNF forced for simplicity’s sake.
- In the case that a player disconnects within the first minute of a map or has other technical issues he makes known to the referee early in the map, the player may replay a map one time at the end of the qualifier lobby.
- Players’ scores on each map will be ranked against all other players and players will be seeded based on their average map rank
Bracket Stage Procedure
- Referees will invite both players to the lobby a few minutes before the match starts.
- If either player is not in the lobby by 5 minutes after the scheduled time, the other player wins by default. If a player communicates to the ref that they will be late for whatever reason, this is extended to 15 minutes (the opponent is free to accept reschedules to a later time at any point). In case of a double no-show, the higher seeded player will get the default win.
- Both players may pick a warm-up map shorter than 4 minutes. Warm-up maps may only be longer if both players and the referee agree to it.
- Both players will !roll. The roll winner gets to choose either the ban OR the pick order, with the loser choosing the remaining order afterwards
- Players have 120 seconds to ban/pick a map and 60 seconds to ready up after a map has been picked. Extensions for tech issues, toilet breaks, etc. are up to referee discretion.
- There are no restrictions on which mod pool a map can be banned or picked from
- Players may additionally pick HD on any map outside of the HD pool. HD Scores outside of the HD Pool or TB get multiplied by 0.9. Players are also free to pick NF if they want to, the HD pool will have HDNF forced for simplicity’s sake.
- Players may pick HD, HR, EZ, or any valid combination thereof on the tiebreaker. EZ scores get multiplied by 2.
- If a player disconnects or has other technical issues during a map and makes this known to the referee before the map ends, the player may choose to replay a map once per match, in which case he has to beat the higher of his opponent’s scores of the two plays.
- If a player disconnects or makes issues known very early on in a map, it is up to referee discretion to decide whether it is early enough to abort the map or to let it play out and proceed according to the above rules.
- With the exception of qualifier pools, both tiers will play the same pool in the same week. This means that the T1 RO32 pool will be the same as the T2 RO16 pool and so on. Where pool size differences do not permit this, the pool will be adjusted accordingly (this can include swapping out some additional maps for overall balance).
- RO32 and RO16 will be a Best of 9 with 1 ban per player
- QF and SF will be a Best of 11 with 1 ban per player
- Finals and Grand Finals will be a Best of 13 with 2 bans per player
- Pools may contain maps above 5 minutes other than the TB, however average length should be about the same as usual.
