Hello I am trying to get more involved in the CTB community and I was wondering if there are any CTB tournaments for a player between 50-20k? (I have a friend who is 50 k ish who is also interested) thanks in advance!

Problem is there are so few actually active 5 digits. It only takes a little time to get to 4 digit and then there will be more options. At 5 digit you should put more focus into learning how the game works so you'll be ready for higher level play when you get there. So sorry, but at this time having a 5 digit tournament really isn't feasible.
