My thoughts on your map... :)
General
Pretty sure timing is incorrect... Your notes start at very odd places on the timeline.
Try 168.15 BPM and 330 offset. It's not perfect but I think it's pretty close. You'll probably have to fine tune it though.

Normal:
8:303 :The spacing feels cluttered and somewhat confusing, particularly for a lower difficulty map. Maybe spread the notes out a little more and/or remove some?

11:116 :Same as before, except the change in direction makes it even more confusing. If you don't change anything else, I would recommend making the pattern more linear.

17:767 :Spacing between notes doesn't fit the rhythm (they're all equal distance from each other but not equal rhythmic difference). Change so that spacing is same as rhythm. (Also don't know if you should hide notes under other notes for 2.5 star song, but that might be personal preference)

19:732 :Cluttered again

21:383 :Timing of the second hit on the slider doesn't follow the music.

22:589 :Clutter

50:267 :Note is off from music

1:01:433 :Unintuitive spacing again. Move the third note a little further from the slider.

1:02:187 : Spacing again. Second and third note too close to each other. Third and fourth too far. (either that or 1 and 2 too close)

1:07:232 :Spacing for the entire combo is pretty confusing. I would recommend mapping easier maps with distance snap and modifying the distance if necessary. (Less intuitive spacing is acceptable for harder maps but not for easier ones)

Easy:

Your easy map is actually pretty good imo. There's some timing issues but I think that's caused by incorrect bpm/offset. Try resnapping everything with new timing and see how it sounds.

I hope my comments help... Mostly just my opinions. :)

Thanks for your feedback, I will try and see if I can fix the problems you mentioned. Some of the spacing issues in the normal difficulty were just because I thought it might not be hard enough actually, which doesn't seem to be that way.

I will update the post with the new changes as soon as they're done.

EDIT: UPDATED. I guess most of those problems are gone now. After some fiddling 320 offset seems to work a bit better than 330, though if you still think it has any issues I am open to any criticism.
RampantPoultry
Don't forget to change the offset on easy to be the same as the one on normal.

it's so much better ^^

The only comment I have now is I think the timing is still off... The starting note of each measure should be falling on the white bars in the time line. It's a fairly minor thing but it makes it easier to make sure your timing is correct. Try 290 offset (I think this one's even better... >_>) and resnap notes so that they're on the white lines. (Although the vocals seem to fall offbeat a lot earlier in the song... so for the beginning I suppose you can ignore this :P)

With this bpm/offset I think you can switch to 1/4 snap timing. The problem with 1/8 is that it's very easy to develop extremely small mistakes in timing, which ruin the map but are difficult to catch.

I lied, one more comment.

Normal
30:373: Move the last note (7th) a bit earlier if you're trying to follow the music, (from red to blue) and change the distance accordingly.

Much improved in general. :D Sorry, I can't really help you with difficulty because I have trouble mapping easier difficulties. :P

I changed the timing to those you said (and snapped again) on both difficulties but didn't feel any particular changes, other than the measure starts lining up with the white lines, so I left it with the new timings.

I used the 1/8 snapping because I thought I needed more control over the timing of hit circles etc. since I was going to match the vocals not the playing instruments and the vocals get offbeat a lot. Also many of the notes can't snap however you change the offset with 1/4 snapping, unless you double the tempo :P

Also I have started to make an Insane difficulty as well so I won't update for now until it is done and in an acceptable shape. :D

Thanks again.

EDIT: Oh, and about that 7th note you mentioned, I did bring it closer but then I felt it was really off, so I put it back where it was. Guess it's a matter of taste :D
RampantPoultry
It might be taste or I might just be going crazy... Either is possible. :P

Good luck with the insane. I'll check it out once it's done ^^

Finally found the time to do the new difficulty, though it was tougher than I expected and I might have made it somewhat unbalanced with some parts being easier some harder, so I'm not sure whether to call it Hard or Insane really.

On the bright side I think there are less timing problems this time around, both because I had some experience now and because the timings are much more consistent.
RampantPoultry
Your insane is my favorite difficulty so far :)

I agree the timing is a lot better. ^^

Glad you liked it. :D

I guess I have to wait for more people to show up and see how it is then.

Thanks for the feedback. I did most of what you said, though I have to ask some things first if you don't mind.

First, could you elaborate a bit on what you mean by messy placement and how to actually improve it ?

And about the Beat Snap Divisor, as already mentioned, some notes are triplets and would fall between beats. I have to either change those parts somehow ( in all difficulties no less ) or double the tempo and re-adjust slider speeds if I have to turn it to 1/4 at all costs and I don't think it makes any difference that way. If you have any other solution that would work and allow 1/4 division it would be a welcome change.

[Insane]

00:21:313 - EDITED: Added the finish to the end of previous combo on 00:20:777 since it seemed out of place there.

01:10:634 - By changing the slider do you mean "turn it to hit circles", or just change its place according to the added notes on 01:09:563 and 01:09:920 ?

EDITED: I didn't add the NC on 01:13:669 since it seems unnecessary to me.

Thanks again. :D

EDIT: Updated with the latest changes.

I was without internet for about a month leading to this beatmap going to the graveyard. Now that I'm back it is resurrected and since there is still no reply about the last changes made to the beatmap I will be waiting for new replies for the time being.

Wow, I was surprised to see someone came along after a month or two of bumping the thread :)

[General]

I'll try to make a hard difficulty as well if I get enough time. That was actually part of the plan when I started doing this, but then I ran out of ideas quickly and decided not to do it.

[Insane]
So, I did most of the things you said, they are all great, but I still insist on using 1/8 tick rate since most of the first half of the notes will get out of snap with 1/4 tick rate and changing offsets will then cause the second half to turn that way. I didn't quite get what you meant for 00:24:705, but changed it anyway. A bit more detail is appreciated if that part still bothers you or something. As for 1:20:811, I was trying to be creative and make the notes resemble saber's sword in the OP video, so I tweaked it somewhat and both maintained the shape and made it harder much like the layout you showed (maybe a bit harder even :P).
Also I changed one or two notes here and there as well because I hadn't touched the map since some time ago.

Finally, thanks for the feedback and the time you spent on it even if it was random modding :)

Hi ~ Mod request from My Queue.

Just suggestions: (red are unrankable things which must be fixed)

Background
fate stay night.jpg is 1365x768, which is above the maximum size of 1024x768.
Timing Sections
Inconsistency in uninherited (red) timing sections:
- [Easy] Red timing sections at: 00:04:539, BPM of 168.000
- [Hard] Red timing sections at: 00:04:539, BPM of 168.000
- [Insane] Red timing sections at: 00:04:538, BPM of 168.000
- [Normal] Red timing sections at: 00:04:539, BPM of 168.000
Kiai
Inconsistency in Kiai Times:
- [Easy] : Kiai #1: Starts on 01:00:253, ends on 01:23:288
- [Hard] : Kiai #1: Starts on 01:00:253, ends on 01:23:288

- [Normal] : Kiai #1: Starts on 01:00:253, ends on 01:23:288

Suggestion about patterns:
Open distance snap when you're putting notes, or the map will be discontinuous.
Open ranked maps and leard there style of mapping.

[Easy]

Snapping 01:23:645 (1) - Unsnapped spinner (end).

[Normal]

better to use Circle Size 3 or 4 in normal.

[Hard]

Don't use Circle Size 6. Generally 4 is good.
Unsnapped inherited (green) timing point(s) at: 00:51:486

[Insane]

Don't use Circle Size 6.

That's all I can find. GL~

Thanks.

Fixed bitrate and bg image, timing sections weren't inconsistent, I don't know where that 1 ms difference comes from though I had to change them anyway because of the bitrate change which messed up the offset by 25 msecs. Fixed kiai, I had forgot to put the check on the appropriate time section on insane.

[Easy]

Wasn't unsnapped from what I saw but resnapped it just to be sure.

[Normal]

Fixed unsnapped time section.

[Normal, Hard and Insane]

Bigger circle sizes in all of them.

And about the patterns and all, this was my first beatmap and I was still learning so it would take a lot of work to redo all of it again, but I'm using all I learned here on my next beatmap which is still a WIP.

Full reuploaded.
