Hi Hi!

I wanted to try my hand at making a beatmap. This is one of my favorite songs from Ouendan, so I wanted to start on this one.

I don't think my version and the Ouendan version are even remotely similar... but please comment so I can fix it please!

EDIT:

Fixed Normal mode.

EDIT 2:

Added the Hard and Insane difficulties.

I also fixed Easy, but it won't upload for some reason.

EDIT 3:

I "fixed" Easy-Hard. It says it's alot easier than before, so I don't know if that's true. (According to stars anyway.)

For some reason, I can only DL Easy. :(

First off, it's EASY. Jack up the beat size and adjust. Seriously.

I got a bpm of 124 and offset of 9,666. Might need some multiple of that bpm, though, not sure. And I'm feeling a bit iffy about it for that matter. Give matty a call on this one, he mentioned having worked on an authentic of this at some point, so he'd be able to help you with this without a problem. Readjust after that.

Can't tell you much after that, but try doing a full reupload after making changes. There's something up where I can't get Normal working, unfortunately.

Uh yeah...

I really do need to up this especially after playing this myself.

Anywho... I shall try to improve. (Normal has to be redone too... wouldn't work after I saved it.)

I'll try to reupload it sometime in the near future with hopefully better changes.

This map has been deleted on the request of its creator. It is no longer available.

Did you try a full reupload? And if that didn't work, did you try standard as well?

Also, maybe something happened with the upload server at that moment...? Possibility. (Tip: If it doesn't work, try again a little later)

First break... Normal hardly seems much different from Easy.

-Circle size for Easy is something allowable, but sizing gets way too small on Normal.
-Take out your breaks and put them back in.
-Some of them don't seem to be in there quite right. Another thing, please go back through and turn on distance snap and adjust spacing, as it's very confusing.
-Maybe some change between difficulties for slider velocity.
-Try simplifying Easy where you can, and possibly nudging up circle size. If you have four full difficulties, Easy usually should be notably easy.
-Maybe try a regular countdown instead of halftime? Feels just so slow. I mean, I know the song is slow, but it's hard to bear.

I didn't even get through all of Normal after checking Easy again... I'm feeling a tad edgy tonight and slow songs aren't doing me good. :(

Gotcha. I'll fix Easy tonight. :D Hopefully I'll be able to get it right this time.

Get acquainted with distance snapping. Your spacing could still use work, I think. It's looking better, though. That, or I'm just in a (somehow) better mood.

Only got through Easy. But, yeah, spacing, also, go through and recheck all beats to make sure they land RIGHT when they should as well. A beatmapper's best friend is the play speed adjustment, in the lower right. Drop to 50% when need to and check timings as you go through with other fixes.

I'm not going to compile a nazi list right now... Maybe on the weekend.

Edit: Just began trying insane... Um... No. I have only seen ONE map with beats that small... Well, ranked. It's insane. But, really, please, that's just way too far out there for circle size. Also, that drain is insane.

Easy
00:25:48 (1) - Move back (<- that way) to the white tick, I'd also say to lengthen it 1/4 beat.
00:28:90 (2) - Move forward (this way ->) 1/8 beat to the blue tick.
00:33:29 (4) - Forward 1/8 beat.
00:34:26 (5) - Same.
00:40:73 (2) - Sounds better 1/4 back.
00:47:31 (6) - Same.
01:05:48 (1) - 1/8 forward.
01:11:34 (3) - Sounds better if you shorten it so that it's only one beat in length.
01:13:04 (4) - 1/4 back.

. . .WHY can't I continue? D: But, seriously, laaaaaaaging horribly. T_T Here's a tip, though: I'd say to double the bpm and half the slider velocity. Having a lot of stuff on 1/8ths is usually a bad thing. Also, be sure to go through and use distance snap to fix up your spacing.

Also, go through your song and double, triple, quadruple-check all the beats and everything. If you're unsure about if a beat is spot-on, you can turn down the speed in the lower-right of the editor screen. Sorry I can't help too much.... This song just keeps driving me away. :(
