Sorry ahead of time, I did the best I could to search through to find a solution to this issue I'm having. So I'm really new to this game and I'm having an issue playing it on my touch screen laptop. Basically when there is a regular beat and I tap the screen with my finger it registers just fine. When there is a slider, however, I tap the first part and try to hold down to slide and it doesn't work. So I'm thinking it's because in Win 7 when you "touch" an icon it registers only after you put your finger down and then lift it (like a mouse click). Is there a way to get this game to work so that I just have to touch the first "circle" of the slider without having to lift my finger and then hurry up to put my finger back down to slide and then tap the last one? I just want to tap and have it register, not tap, then lift my finger for it to register. Did that even make sense? ._. Is there a setting for that in win 7 somewhere or in the game somewhere? Or is it up to the type of touch screen that I have (like capacitive vs. resistive)?

Thanks!

Have you tried the "force tabletpc" option under Options > Input?

Yes, I gave that a try but didn't see a difference :/

You definitely have correct drivers installed which are compatible with win7? If so, that force option should ensure it works correctly.

Yeah I can't imagine why they wouldn't be correct ._. I play many games on here that work great and this one does as well minus slider issues. The only thing I can think of is win 7 utilizes the touch screen one way and I need it changed for the game. So when I go to close a window in win 7 I push down with my finger and it closes after my finger lets go whereas with this game it would be easier if it responded to me pushing down on the buttons rather than responding after my finger is letting go. Is this something I will have to deal with because of the type of screen I have? I'm trying to avoid using my wacom D:

As I said, if you have windows 7 compatible touch drivers, it will work correctly. They need to support Ink mode. Try updating/checking your drivers.

I checked for an update and it's the latest one available. There are no driver downloads at all on the manufac. website so I'll try to look around I suppose. Thank you

Ah got it, under touch settings in win 7 I had to disable "press and hold to activate right click"

Thank you for your help and quick response!
