LATEST NEWS: Hmmmmm. Ok, for now the correctly named map is located here: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=18029. For some reason osu! registered it as a brand new map, even though I've renamed the map before without this problem occurring. Any insight would be appreciated.
Update on the map naming issue:
So you know how I had originally typo'd the song name when I first submitted? Well when I did that, it turned out that even after I fixed the typo in all of the difficulties, the .osb file in the maps actual folder in osu (which i think is used for storyboarding) still had the typo'd name (as its filename).

Now I didn't realize this at first so I ended up making a bunch of accidental copies which made me bitch to peppy (sorry peppy xD) about why osu! kept creating copies no matter what I tried, which in turn essentially made him think I was retarded (hence "Maybe you should learn how to spell." LOL.)

In the end, all I had to do was actually go in and change the .osb filename in the maps folder from Motogatari to Monogatari.

August 23rd:
  1. Mapped a little further (still trying to decide if I want to use the TV-Size or not) (and also increased circle size by 1 tick, looks and feels nicer)
August 24th:
  1. (3:44pm EST)Decided to map the TV-Size. I'll be reuploading with the new mp3 and a modified beatmap to match the TV-Size later on today (hopefully this update will include a full Insane difficulty for people to test out [that is, if I'm not incredibly lazy] xD)
  2. Full uploaded TV-Size with a completed Insane difficulty.
August 25th:
  1. blisfulyoshi's mods
  2. Started work on the "Shifty Mix" difficulty (a step up from the Insane difficulty). I'll update bits and pieces of the new difficulty over the next couple days.
September 9th:
  1. Added source and appropriate tags.
  2. Used new-found motivation (thanks Alace! :D) to stop being lazy and mapped more of "Shifty Mix" (fixed a lot of things as well). Will update tonight.
  3. Added Alace's "Hard" difficulty and as I said earlier, I'll make a large update to "Shifty Mix" later tonight.
  4. Updated the "Shifty Mix" although its not the HUGE update I'd like (and that I promised). Keep in mind that I'm still experimenting with this difficulty, especially in terms of beat placement, EVERYTHING is subject to possibly large changes. xD
September 10th:
  1. Updated a little more of the "Shifty Mix." Also mixed in some neat hitsounds.
September 11th:
  1. Updated "Shifty Mix" once again. Had lots of fun with the hitsounds xD. Still not finished yet though :D.
September 16th:
  1. Finished "Shifty Mix" difficulty and moved the map to pending :D.
September 27th:
  1. Removed all the extra Finishes near the end of the map, they were too loud and obnoxious.
November 28th:
  1. Removed "Alazy" difficulty due to Alace's own request

It's great to see someone mapping this song.

I like the map so far, except for the quick beats around 0:20. Sounds just a bit awkward~

Keep up the work! Even a TV-size version would be awesome.

Thanks yong :D. The quick beats around 0:20 are meant to follow the drum fills, just so you know. I made a few adjustments in the newest version (with timing and difficulty) which make a lot of the parts sound less awkward so check it out :D.

And yeah, I can't figure out whether or not I want to switch and map just the TV-Size or the full song :3.

Hitsound volume is overpowering. Please lower it.
Also you might want want to increase the overall difficulty by a notch or two

Normal mod:
00:05:46 (1) - since you distance snapped everything so far, I don't like the jump you have to make to reach this note
00:17:28 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - might want to lower stack leniency to 3 notches to make this look nicer
01:25:55 (1) - extend this 2 whole notes to follow the sound

Combo mod:
00:09:46 (6) - add a new combo to show the space in timing of the stack?
00:10:73 (6) - new combo for the different instruments being snapped to?
00:37:09 (1) - remove new combo to follow your earlier comboing pattern
00:38:55 (1) - ^
00:44:37 (7) - Y did you change your comboing pattern after this point? Also, I could not really figure out the pattern of your new combos after this point so it is up to your choice to change it.

You might want to align some of the notes better, but I will leave that up to you.

I guess something is wrong with the map? It seems that all the notes are shifted backwards to the beginning (the offset).

You need to delete your old map and redownload the newest. You have the version of the map before the new mp3.

you still need a normal diff lol

I remove most finish in your hardest diff they are too loud
if you like this new hitsounds file
you can just rename it to your diff name

Yeah I was actually thinking that as well. I'll remove all the extra Finishes now.
