This could be a step too far...
Welcome back to the 24-Hour Showdown. The tournament is just like your average tournament, with one little twist… you only have a day to view each pool.
This tournament is for 5-25k with a 1k rank buffer. Once you signed up, you may NOT pass 4k rank or go under 26k rank. BWS will be in place.
This tournament will take place over two weeks, from March 16 to 23.

Match Procedures
Match Format and Settings
This is a single elimination tournament. RO64 and RO32 are BO5, RO16 and quarterfinals are BO7, Semifinals are BO9, and Grand Finals are BO11.
Warmups are not allowed until the quarterfinals. Warm-ups are limited to 4 minutes each. If both teams agree to it, warmups do not have to be played.
When self-reffing, create the match post like so: 24HS: (Player 1) vs (Player 2).
Make sure you save the match link! Lobby should be set to Scorev2, HeadToHead.
For Freemod, each player of the following mods : HD, HR, FL, or EZ. For tiebreaker, a mod may be picked, but it can be played nomod.
Picks and Bans
After warmups (or if there are no warmups, after both players arrive at the lobby), both players will roll. Each team gets one ban, with the exception of semi-finals and finals where players will get two bans. Banned maps cannot be played in the match.
Higher roll – Bans second, picks first
Lower roll – Bans first, picks second.
Note that teams alternate picks regardless of who wins or loses.
Disconnections and Fails
Failed scores will not count toward the overall score if a player is in a failed state at the end of the match. If both players fail, then the player with the higher score wins the map.
If a player disconnects within the first 30 seconds in the map, the map may be restarted. This may only happen to a team once in a match. If the disconnection happens after 30 seconds, the player is considered to have failed and the score will not count.
Punctuality and Respect
All matches should begin immediately, or as soon as possible. Once an opponent shows up in challonge you may start the match if both teams agree.
Otherwise, the match should begin at the regular start time. If a player does not show up after 10 minutes your will win by default. Post in #match-log with you in the match lobby. Please note that failing to show up without giving you a reason may result you in being unable to participate in my future tournaments.
Above all, please respect the referees if your match is being reffed. They have volunteered their time to be here, and all decisions they make are final.
