[Archived] Lag Spikes

I know there are many topics on this, but I still haven't been able to figure out a solution for me. I don't have windows ink running or background apps like f.lux enabled while in the game yet I still get these small lag spikes throughout a song, never while in selection though. Thanks to anyone who can help!

Ive also tried stopping superfetch

Do you have “Universal Offset” set to 0. That can cause that little lag. Maybe try resetting your osu if setting ur offset to 0 doesn’t help

Yep, universal offset is set to 0

Try turning off “Storyboard” and “Backgrounders Video”.

Try to turn off the threading optimization in the nvidia‘s control panel, which may cause intermittent lag.

And Intel VT-x may cause the lag when you use intel graphic card running the game. you can try to close it in the BIOS setting.
