[Archived] Maps won't import at all

Problem details: Suddenly, beatmaps refuse to import properly. I open the file, my cursor sits at "loading" for 10 seconds, then osu! opens and takes 5 seconds to try to import it, before handing me a "Beatmap failed to import, noving to Failed folder." error message.

Try restarting your computer.

Assuming this is happening with every beatmap you try to import, if restarting doesn't work, try keeping shift held while starting osu! until a configuration window pops up, then hit "repair osu!".
