It's back again... but this time you won't be alone.
The 24- Hour Tournament is back for a fourth edition! This is just like any other tournament... except you have only a day to view the pool. And it's 2v2.
There are two rank brackets in this tournament - 10-30k and 30-60k. The 30-60k tournament will take place from February 2-3, while the 10-30k tournament will take place from February 9-10.

Match Procedures and Rules
Match Format and Settings
This is a single elimination tournament. RO32, RO16 are all self-reffed and are BO5. All matches onward from Quarterfinals will be reffed. Quarterfinals are BO7, Semifinals/3rd place match BO9, and Grand Finals are BO11. Day 1 will be Round of 32 to the quarterfinals, while the second day is the semi-finals and finals. Both days will use different pools.
Warmups are not allowed until the semi-finals. Warm-ups are limited to 3 minutes each. If both teams agree to it, warmups do not have to be played.
When self-reffing, create the match post like so: 24HS: (Team 1) vs (Team 2).
Make sure you save the match link! Lobby should be set to Scorev2, TeamvsTeam.
For Freemod, one player from each team must pick one of the following mods : HD, HR, FL, or EZ.. For tiebreaker, a mod may be picked, but it can be played nomod.
Picks and Bans
The captains of each team will roll. Each team gets one ban, with the exception of semi-finals and finals where players will get two bans. Banned maps cannot be played in the match.
Higher roll – Bans second, picks first
Lower roll – Bans first, picks second.
Note that teams alternate picks regardless of who wins or loses.(edited)
Disconnections and Fails
Failed scores will not count toward the overall score if a player is in a failed state at the end of the match. If both players from a team fail, the other team is considered victorious.
If a player disconnects within the first 30 seconds in the map, the map may be restarted. This may only happen to a team once in a match. If the disconnection happens after 30 seconds, the player is considered to have failed and the score will not count.
Punctuality and Respect
All matches should begin immediately, or as soon as possible. Once an opponent shows up in challonge you may start the match if both teams agree.
Otherwise, the match should begin at the regular start time. If either players on the opposing team do not show up after 10 minutes your team will win by default. Post in #match-log with your team in the match.
Above all, please respect the referees if your match is being reffed. They have volunteered their time to be here, and all decisions they make are final. If you have an issue with a referee or any questions, don’t hesitate to message me
