[Archived] Question: On what does the input rate depend?

I know, this is rather a stupid question but I see some people who have about 0.1ms when I have 0.5ms (which is realy good).
But on what does the input rate depend? Hardware, driver configuration, resolution, screen size, display dpi etc.

That value is frame time, not input rate. You can get that value to go down the same way you get FPS in most games to go up. Without explaining exactly what frame time is in great deal (Google does a pretty good job of it), it's pretty much just the inverse of your FPS.

So things like hardware (GPU, CPU, etc) make more of a difference, as well as closing any unnecessary applications you may have running in the background, etc (as those things tend to do with FPS as well).
