So yesterday, I moved osu to a different drive, and today I moved it back, and when I download a .osk files (a skin for example) it doesn't work it gives me a error saying that there is no app associated to it and i need to set a default program. When i go to set a default program, osu doesn't show up / it doesn't work when I set a program. osu doesn't even show up as an app.

* i right clicked the .osk file and made it open with osu but i have to do that individually every time for some reason*

You may have to manually reselect the osu!.exe as the default program. It should prompt you to "browse" for a program.

Either try holding shift while starting the game a until a recovery window pops up, then hit "repair osu!". Or, if that doesn't work, download the installer, and when you run it, make sure to point it to osu!'s current location.

If that still doesn't work. When you go to right click on the file to open it with osu!, did you search for more apps on your PC and manually select osu!.exe in its new location? Did you also remember to check the "always use this app to open .osk files" checkbox? Here is a post with some pictures as to what I am referring to: https://osu.ppy.sh/community/forums/topics/652642?start=6298862

Thank you dnt

to both of you yes, i did manually select osu as a program and yes i did select osu from the current location, but it still doesn't work (i also checked the box)
i would have to manually select osu as the default program every time for it to work correctly and i would have to do that individually every time i want to download a skin for example.

Did you try the first part of what I posted as well?
