[Archived] i cant open osu anymore ,

Problem details: crashing on startup
i didn update or change something/drivers
i can hear the sounds with the *welcome*
i tried to repair/unninstall/changing compatibility mode
nothing work , :(

If an "oh no osu! crashed" window pops up, please click on it to reveal the log and post it here.

Otherwise, please follow this guide to get the crash log from your Event Viewer and post that instead.

edit : i downloaded the 2015 version and work fine , i guess the crash is from the osu update

there is no message exept the osu stopped working

This isn't a good solution. That version of the game is missing a lot of features and score submission for maps ranked after October 22nd has already been disabled. I wouldn't be surprised if the rest of score submission was disabled at some point too (though I don't have a date on that).

It's a much better idea to get the actual issue resolved instead. Unfortunately, the log you posted has pretty much no information. Check to see if you have anything else in your event viewer, sometimes more than one log is created. As described in that guide I linked, try filtering to Critical and Error event level logs if you didn't before, those are the ones that generally contain useful information.

Also, have you tried simply restarting your computer yet?

That log doesn't even appear to be related to osu! at all. I don't believe you should have been brought to it if you hit Ctrl+F, typed in "osu!", and hit the "Find Next" button. Maybe you clicked on the wrong thing, not everything in your event viewer will have something to do with osu!

If you still can't find anything else in your event viewer, provide the "runtime.log" file from your osu!\Logs folder. Perhaps that will give us some more information as to what the issue actually is.
