Have you tried restarting your computer?
Try disabling any applications you have running on your computer that could put an overlay on the game. Some popular ones include Discord's in-game overlay, Steam's in-game overlay (don't run osu! through Steam if you are right now), Windows Game Bar/Game DVR, NVIDIA's in-game overlay (Shadowplay), etc.
