[Archived] "pending verification" on mac

Problem details: im at another place for some time and i they only have a mac so i installed the latest stable osu version from the tumblr post and logged in. I verified but nothing happened in game. i tried everything from logging out to verify again to just pressing on the pop up every time it shows up. I think the problem is the version of the osu because its from 2015 but i cant update it. is there another version for mac?

I would recommend downloading the most recent "unofficial" macOS update on there, or at the very least, the Alpha release. If you are not using one of those two releases, your game will be locked on that old osu! build. This old version is no longer supported and online features (include score submission) could be disabled at any point.

It's more than likely that downloading one of those newer releases will fix this issue on its own. With that said, if you absolutely do not want to update your game, read this:

After logging out of both, please wait a few minutes. Then log back into the website, then into the client.
