How to insert thumbnail?

How can I insert/change the thumbnail of my beatmap? Right now, there is just an invisible square.

I thought that just putting the background of it would do it but no. I think in older versions of osu it was the case but now no. Or am I blind?

Looks like the thumbnail doesn't appear for unsubmitted maps.

Shouldn't you just be able to drag the image file from the files into the beatmap?

Once you upload your map, the thumbnail should appear.
