No, this is not possible.
If you just want to practice HR with a different circle size, edit the map you want to play. Go to "File > Create a new Difficulty" and when prompted don't clear the objects. Then you can change the circle size to whatever you want before playing and you won't need to worry about updating the map again later. This will not be ranked though.
