So Ive been trying to find this on the forums but couldn't, But if you could tell me, That would be great. I'm on mac high sierra and use the stable 2015 version of osu! Ive tried to download these songs for hours but still couldn't find out how

You can download maps from here. You can download beatmap packs from here if you are able to extract rar archives. The files in the beatmap packs can be extracted into your Songs folder and will appear in-game after you hit F5 on the song selection screen.
To import new maps, drag them into your osu! window, or click on them after they are downloaded (I believe this works on macOS?).
