My game resets the settings to default at every startup. Can someone help me?

Run osu! as an administrator and hit the "repair folder permissions" button in the options menu. Change some settings and restart, to see if that does anything.
If your settings still reset, close osu! and move the file "osu!.pcname.cfg" outside of your osu! folder (pcname is the name of the account you are logged into on your computer). Then restart your game and test again.
