[Archived] Unable to play due to lag or ms?

I recently updated my windows (I don't think this is the problem and I can't roll it back).. And this problem where when I'm playing mania it just jumps up and down during sliders and in general and it's very frustrating..

I don't think it's a specs issue because I'm only utilizing ~5% of my i7, and I have 16GB of RAM so I really don't know why this is happening.

i had a little brainfart and didnt realize you updated your windows, sorry

here are some solutions:
  1. windows settings > system > focus assistant, disable everything
  2. update or reinstall your graphics drivers
  3. personalize > colours > disable the transparency effects (helps with dropped frames for some reason)
  4. enable compatibility mode in options
