[Archived] Database corrupts every 2nd week

Hi there,

After playing osu! for a while, sometimes when i reopen the game, it says that my database got corrupted.
This happens every 2nd week.

Is there a way that I can fix it?

[p.s.: i can't answer for a week now, i'm traveling this week and i have no internet.]

At the top right of the song selection screen, set your beatmap group to "No Grouping" and sort by something like Artist or Title. Scroll to the top and bottom of your song list and delete any maps that have no data (e.g. no audio, no title, no artist, etc). Then follow these steps:
  1. Close osu!
  2. Navigate to your osu! folder
  3. Move the file "osu!.db" outside of it
  4. Reopen osu! and hit play
You should see your beatmaps reprocess. If you do not, hit F5. This will mark all of your maps as unplayed, although they might already be considering your database was corrupted multiple times already. Hopefully this should prevent that from happening often.
