Not exactly sure when the problem started i just sort of dealt with it for awhile but it's getting really annoying. Anytime i'm in menus or just browsing through the music i get some insanely hard frame drops just out of nowhere. I have tried messing with compatibility mode and stuff but to no avail the problem still persists. I've updated nvidia drivers i've monitored the systems resources while playing and nothing seems out of the ordinary since osu itself seems to only use less than half of the resources available. Also my delay input sits at around 1-2ms and that seems off too cause i used to be able to have under 1ms easily while in game. Any feedback welcome!
I should add that i only play osu with discord open and of course I've tried it without it being open and i also don't download anything that could harm the system either it has zero issues within other games

Windows 10 (which is up to date)

8 gigs of ram (gross ik upgrade soon)
nvidia gtx 1080
300 gig SSD
osu! version: 20180401.3 (latest)
