[Archived] Old Beatmaps not Working

So my old laptop with osu died however, I had a flashdrive with a ton of my old beatmaps on them. How do I transfer them onto my new laptop? I tried dragging them directly into the beatmap folder but that didn't work.

After you have dragged them into the osu! folder, you should press f5 in the client to reload the maps and they should all appear

What if you try to manually change the file type from .osu to .osz and drag it into osu! window? Still the same error?
