[resolved] Swapping Osu! to different storage driver on your computer

I was wondering since i'm running out of space on my :C drive, is there a way to transfer all of my osu from my :c drive to my :d drive?

Actually, yes there is.

The only thing you should do is could copy the osu! folder from C: and paste it on on D:

I found out by reinstalling osu with the installer that I downloaded on the screen where it says "setting it up" you can click down the bottom and you can change where to download osu to. From there you can just copy and paste all the stuff from the old osu folder and delete it. P.S use the new osu icon that pops up because that will be from the other drive (for me my :d drive).

So
1. reinstall osu,
2. change the download location
3. Go onto the new icon that pops up in your task bar
4. open osu file location
5. copy and paste old fiel from the old osu file into there
6. restart it and it should be go

You don't need to reinstall first, you can just copy the entire osu! folder you currently have installed, that seems a lot simpler.

It doesn't work like that since your osu has a set path and you can't change that path unless you reinstall. You can reinstall and copy all the folders from the old place to the new place and that will work

It is like steam if you're moving it to a different drive then you have to reinstall it

Perhaps when I said "copy" that was a bit confusing. Moving the entire osu! folder to a different location is completely fine to do without a reinstall, this includes moving to another drive. I'm not entirely sure where you have heard otherwise.
