Hello everyone! Today I am announcing the skins! 6th skinning competition.
This competition is not gameplay oriented but rather is focused on how well your skin represents the visual theme that has been provided. However, the skin must still be reasonably playable.
There is no entrance fee, and everyone is welcomed to join!
But before we announce what the theme for this competition will be, let's mention the prizes and the rules!
Why should you join the competition?
Well... in the spirit of Christmas we are giving away 1 full year of supporter tag!
Of course, there are rules to this competition, so here they are listed.
- You must save at least 5 elements from your skin in their original format (.psd / .ai / etc) with the layers still intact.
- Skins must be fully original!
- You must make every element of your skin for this competition, you may not use anything you've made before for anything other than a reference. (Hit sounds are an exception)
- You must stick to the theme (below)
- You must skin at least all menu elements + all standard gameplay elements. You are not required to skin other gamemodes, but it may help you win the competition if you do.
The winners will be picked via these means:
- The skins! staff team will look through all of the skins and pick their top 5 based primarily on looks, and secondarily on play-ability.
- Those 5 skins will be listed in a poll, everyone can vote once.
- The most voted for skin at the end of the poll will be the 1st placed winner, 2nd and 3rd place will be picked by the skins! staff team.
- Winners will be contacted via discord/osu! PM's/whichever form of contact they list on their submission.

As with most competitions, there is a theme to be followed (the theme above). Skinners will have 2 weeks (Dec. 2nd - 18th) to get the skin finished and submitted to the link provided below. Submissions close at 12:00 UTC -6
