[Archived] Osu! really slow download

Hello guys i am just wondering whats going on if i try to download a map from the osu website or with osu direct i have really slow download speed:


i tested if its my internet connection and it seems like its just osu!
well i tried to restart my router and my pc.
i also did a speedtest while i had this problem and its everything fine:


if you guys have some ideas what is going on please tell me what you think about.

Edit: after waiting 15 min the download just failed

osu! version: 20170731.2 (latest)

Does this happen for every map you try to download?

Are you able to download from a mirror website like bloodcat?

What are your download speeds for servers located in a different country?

yes but when i use osu direct it works sometimes randomly.

yes but its slow like 50kb/s.

not sure what you mean the server from the speedtest or the osu servers?

If you are able to download from bloodcat, yet it is still a very slow speed, it is most likely an ISP issue. Alternatively, make sure no one else is using as that could be slowing down your download speed.

There is nothing wrong on osu!'s end and generally people with the same issue have resolved it by waiting.

I had the same issue few hours later. I tried Edge and this boi downloading faster than Firefox, so I assumed that the problem in browser itself. I decided to clean all cookies, cache,history - everything in Firefox and.. well this is not my 3mb/sec but i have now 400 kb instead 30-50kb. Might help
