Problem Details: Osu not reinstalling after switching to Stable (latest)



Video or screenshot showing the problem:



osu! version: 20171011beta



I wanted to go from Fallback to Latest because of my skin. I tried logging in but my osu! could not find connection.
I tried reinstalling osu (skins and songs backedup) and the screenshot shows what happens when i try installing

I can't see your screenshot. Try this: t/647666
Next time don't re-install, ask here instead for some help before doing this step.

i have that automattically dectect settings off and it still doesn't work

Hey! Please let us know your OS as well as your PC specs. Your computer might not be compatible with the Stable Latest build.

Also provide the update.log file, which is found in the Logs folder inside your osu! installation folder.

im using a i5-4200M with integrated graphics and 8 gb of ram

Os: windows 10

osu used to work fine

I think you should try to flush your DNS and renew your IP, try restarting your router/modem too.

Please try updating/reinstalling your .NET framework from this link.

If the above does not work, and you used to play on fallback, try using the old installer so we can at least get the game running again: https://m1.ppy.sh/release/osu!install.exe
