[Archived] i reinstalled osu and got fps problems

Problem Details:
it seems that after i reinstalled it i can only get 30-80 frames tops at the menu and it locks at 60fps when playing a song

p.s. i have an amd gpu

update: it only hits 120fps when a song im playing ends

really missed that 120fps feel while playing, any more suggestions? please

Just press F7 in the main menu until you see Unlimited(Gameplay)

What GPU do you have?

What's the model name

Turn off Power Efficiency in the Radeon Global Settings.

Make sure v-sync and triple buffering is disabled in-game and in the driver settings.

I just reread your first post, the 60 that it is displaying in game is most likely not FPS, but rather Hz. Please double check to make sure. If it is indeed FPS please try hitting F7 again. Go into options and double check you are set to "Unlimited (Gameplay)".

If the game is choppy in the menu, try closing programs that are running in the background. Make sure Windows is not performing any updates and your antivirus is not scanning anything.
