Problem Details:
I've recently installed osu on an xps 13 ultrabook with the intention of an upgrade from my older laptop only to receive abnormally low frames (hovering 60 without cap) and high ms (25~). Upon further probing, I found that alt-tabbing in and out of the game will result in brief 3-4 seconds of normal framerates/ms before succumbing to the laggy states once more. I also found that NOT playing with the fullscreen mode will oddly enough, give normal frame rates and passable ping (8.0~). However the input lag still exists from being windowed and so that can't be a temporary solution. I've linked a gif showing the alt-tabbing phenomenon. Thanks in advance for reading and providing any help. I would really hate to stop playing due to an upgrade that really just turned out to be a downgrade.
