[Archived] Language Switching just shows small boxes

Problem Details:
I'm on a mac and when I try to switch the language, instead of the characters, it just shows small boxes or something like that.

Usually when that happens, it indicates that your computer doesn't really support that set of characters.

I don't own a Mac so I don't really know which character sets it supports
