[Archived] Huion H420 stutters when touching slightly

I use my osu! tablet for some months now but and I stopped pen skipping a
long time ago but there is another problem which is like the opposite of it.

Since I'm hovering it can happen that I slightly touch the tablet which makes
the cursor freeze for a small moment which proved to be pretty fatal. It is
seriously enraging me at this point. I still want to be able to use my tablet
to tap if possible (since I have to turn on the pen this way) but make this
stuttering stop.

Anyone got the same problem and maybe found a solution?

Have you made sure mouse button are disabled in the osu settings?
Also if that is the official osu tablet, you are using there, get rid of the drivers, you shouldn't need them.

Yes I did but I think it's more of a windows thing so it does that outside of osu! too. And I can't set the tablet area without the drivers so that's not really a thing I can do.

You can sort of set an area by using the sensitivity slider in the osu! settings but I understand your point.
Make sure to disable flicks and any other useless mouse settings. Also turn off tablet pc support in your huion settings and maybe show us the advanced settings of the huion control panel.

Been having the same problem with my H420, then figured out the solution:

It stutters on pen touch when you don't have the Huion driver software open somewhere, either minimised or in system tray. Having it somewhere open removes the touch stuttering.

I recommend setting it to open on system startup. :D
