[Archived] Switching from Fallback to Latest

Problem Details: Since the osu!taiko world cup is nearby, we heard that stable can be used for ScoreV2 but some of us that wanted to join can't update our client to Latest. It always updates to Fallback (for me atm) after the Restart requirement. We need some solution before the date of the osu!taiko world cup is there.

osu! version: 20161220.3 (for me)

That happens when you're in a Mac or have outdated hardware.
Try updating your drivers here https://osu.ppy.sh/wiki/GL_Support_Issues

i tried to update my drivers, and it's updated atm. But after i change it to stable latest one, it does the same thing ._.

Try enabling compatibility mode and try updating again.

If that didn't work, could you post your specs here?
If you don't know how, download [lucky:1337]Speccy[/lucky:1337] and install it.
Go to Summary Tab and post it here

from my gathering trying to run osu! on very old hardware, I could notice that osu! Latest version requires at least Open GL 2.0. A quick search on Google shows that the G31/G33 graphics support only up to Open GL 1.4. Your hardware is very old and I'm pretty sure you have no other choice but to upgrade if you want to switch to the latest version. A simple cheap GPU will do if you upgrade only for osu!.
