Hey, NM from queue

[Collab]

Moph :

  1. 00:48:093 (1,2) - Try moving this at around x:89 y:286 to keep the same visual distance pattern inside of the same combo so the blanket that comes next feels more structured
  2. 00:52:343 (4,5,7,8,1) - I would make the blanket spacing equal here, the difference is kinda noticeable
  3. 01:30:009 (2,1) - The stack here is kinda off because of the editor bug
  4. 01:40:176 (2,3) - Could center 3 a bit to make the blanket look better inside of this pattern
  5. 01:41:176 (1) - I don't really get why you extended this slider to the blue tick, how about making it end on the white or the red tick instead depending on what kind of impact you want the triple to have. I can hear that there's a really background sound but i don't think that's worth skipping the downbeat for it because it's not very distinct
  6. 02:16:676 (1,2,3) - I think this would look better if you made something like this to have that sort of 1 and 2 fitting inside of each other because right now it feels like you made these slidershapes "just because" and also because you did it for the following similar patterns
  7. 03:49:343 (1,2,3,4,5) - I think this looks much better and makes more sense with how you set up the triangle pattern right before with the 1/4 sliders
Ambient :

  1. 00:26:009 (1,2,3,4) - Ctrl shift d to make the make the square more perfect
  2. 00:30:843 (2,4) - Make the overlap consistent with 00:30:676 (1,3) -
  3. 01:21:676 (2) - Looks kinda out of place spacing wise, feels a tad too much compared to the rest of the kiai, try reducing moving it towards the right a little bit?
  4. 01:48:009 (1,2,3,4) - This feels really cramped to me because of the sudden "happy" feel in the song, try spreading everything up a bit, especially 2
  5. 01:58:926 (2) - More personal but here i'd ctrl g this because the current orientation makes me think it's a rhythm that would go more like this, i think using slider leniency here is the way to go
  6. 02:00:426 (3,4) - Swap these on the timeline? I think it would be better to have a double here instead of having the end of the 3/4 rhythm on the slider end, if that makes sense
  7. 02:02:176 (5,6,7,8,9,10) - This would feel a lot better as 1/4 sliders imo because it would make the 1/2 guitar clickable instead of having a stream mapped to the background sounds
  8. 02:06:676 (1,3) - Blanket mod xd (pointing this one out because it's uneven towards the slider start of 3)
  9. 02:34:009 (4,5,6) - This triple doesn't feel very nice imo, it's better to start "overmapped" triples on the red tick to emphasize white ticks
  10. 03:35:676 (3) - NC here? To make the really wide angle+high spacing more comfortable to read, also new instrument
  11. 04:13:342 (9) - NC here too, downbeat+emphasis on the stop/finish
  12. 04:34:676 (1) - I think this is a very polishable slidershape, since it's not justified by having "blankets" here so it looks rather unpolished because it's uneven
  13. 04:39:843 (1,2) - I'd either swap NC or NC both here, not having it on the downbeat with the really strong guitar sound is kinda awkward imo
  14. 04:43:843 (1,2) - This would make more sense to me if it were a 1/4 slider to follow guitar because you did it right after 04:44:509 (1,2,1,2) -
I guess that's all i got, the map is pretty clean, loved the guitar part

Hope any of this helped, good luck :)

I can hear that there's a really background sound but i don't think that's worth skipping the downbeat for it because it's not very distinct I do see your point but I used an extended slider to really emphasize that triple, I'll silence the slider end if that helps. I'll consider changing it if its mention again
  6. 02:16:676 (1,2,3) - I think this would look better if you made something like this to have that sort of 1 and 2 fitting inside of each other because right now it feels like you made these slidershapes "just because" and also because you did it for the following similar patterns ok sure

Hey, just passing by to tell you that while your map didn't get chosen in our queue, I really liked it, so I'm dropping a couple stars on it (and doing a quick mod on it).

I think GW didn't agree on modding it because he probably found the solo overmapped, and GW likes his guitar solos a lot.

02:35:593 (7) - ctrl+g since every other similar patterns have the sliders going in opposite directions
04:49:343 (8,1) - switch NC?

Great map, good luck!

00:54:343 (8,9,10,11,1,2) - Maybe moving this pattern so it keeps up the nearly straight Sliderhead|slidertail|sliderhead ( 00:53:843 (5,6,7) - for example) patterning up for the 7 ( 00:54:176 (7) - ) aswell. For ex. http://puu.sh/uyzm4/b0b5857e06.jpg

01:05:176 (1,3) - Maybe switch up the NC for these two? Imo it would be better to be here 01:05:343 (3) - because the pattern, mapper and the section changes plus it's mapped on a cymbal hit

01:43:843 (6,1) - Swap NCs here so people understand that the change from 1/2s to 1/1s happen here 01:43:843 (6) - and this 01:43:843 (6,1) - is not 1/2

02:17:843 (4,1) - I know that this was placed like so purely intentionally but it's still quite a drastic difference when you compare it to the other similiar beat patterns 02:12:509 (4,1) - 02:23:176 (4,1) - (exceptionally this ->) 02:28:510 (4,1) - so maybe clarifying what you are trying to do with it would be a good idea

02:59:343 (1) - Imo this should be emphasized by spacing muuuuuch more than the following hitcircle 02:59:509 (2) -

03:02:676 (1,1,1,1,1) - I don't really know is this kind of super dense NCing necessary here... maybe talk about this with a BN if/when possible unless if you have a crystal clear explonation on the NCing

03:40:593 (4,5) - Small spacing error because of the stack

04:54:676 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - Prior in the kiai section ( 04:23:342 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - ) you had the 5th note NCd there, maybe use similar NCing for the other stream aswell by NCing this 04:55:009 (5) - note

05:01:176 (4) - Since the bass theoretically lasts from the start of this slider to all the way to here 05:01:343 - so would making this slider a 1/4 reverse slider to represent the hold sound from here 05:01:259 - to here 05:01:343 - would atleast imo be a good idea

Ambient

00:29:343 (1,2,3,4) - Could you justify your choice of sliders here and why is it different when compared to this 00:26:676 (1,2,3,1) - pattern? Imo those two sound pretty much exactly the same so it's kinda weird that you drop the prioritization of the bass so suddenly and full on focus on the piano

01:14:593 (7,1) - Small spacing error when compared to the other objects on the stream

03:14:509 (4,6) - For you i'd recommend to NC a little bit more, maybe copy moph a little bit? For example these two could be NCd as they change the BSD used for the spacing of the notes and here 03:19:509 (3) - for example it would clarify that the 2|3 is not 1/2 as you have used veeery similiar pattern(s) ( 03:14:176 (2,3,4) - ) to represent 1/2 notes and here 03:20:176 (1,2,3,4,5) - the BSD gets completely mixed up. So ya know this kind of little things could be NCd just so the drastic change is begin represented somehow to the player

Simply amazing, keep up the good work guys

02:17:843 (4,1) - I know that this was placed like so purely intentionally but it's still quite a drastic difference when you compare it to the other similiar beat patterns 02:12:509 (4,1) - 02:23:176 (4,1) - (exceptionally this ->) 02:28:510 (4,1) - so maybe clarifying what you are trying to do with it would be a good idea thats very true, I've been meaning to fix up these parts. I'll probably change the 4th one so it matches the 2nd

02:59:343 (1) - Imo this should be emphasized by spacing muuuuuch more than the following hitcircle 02:59:509 (2) - o nice catch

03:02:676 (1,1,1,1,1) - I don't really know is this kind of super dense NCing necessary here... maybe talk about this with a BN if/when possible unless if you have a crystal clear explonation on the NCing fixed, I think the nc is a bit screwed in this slow part zz

03:40:593 (4,5) - Small spacing error because of the stack fixed

04:54:676 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - Prior in the kiai section ( 04:23:342 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - ) you had the 5th note NCd there, maybe use similar NCing for the other stream aswell by NCing this 04:55:009 (5) - note sure fixed

02:46:676 (1) - make jump for emphasize, you made jump in 02:46:009 (6,7) - . Doesn't really need more emphasis, also i don't get what you mean by referencing 02:46:009 (6,7) - :(

Hello! From my queue,

Seems like you have an additional SB file on your folder, because you probably changed the map's name, so delete ''Tsukasa Yatoki - Heaven's Race (Guitar Style) (moph).osb''

Moph:
00:10:343 (3) - Move this to x:416 y:308 for easier reading
00:48:093 (1,2) - Move these 2 closer to like x:156 y:296 for better reading as well since it identifies as a double more easily
00:50:593 (6,1) - Give these 2 more spacing for a consistent spacing and so it comes closer to circle 2 without ruining playability
00:53:509 (2) - This one closer as well, or alternatively making slider 00:53:343 (1) - have a direct line to circle 2
00:54:176 (7,8) - That's a pretty mean jump imo, i suggest making it closer to the incoming stack, or unstacking the following objects and making them a stream line with low-medium spacing in between them.
00:56:843 (8,9) - Switch positions of timing between these 2 sliders and it becomes alot more easy to read since spacing from slider 7 to 8 and turn made it confusing to play
00:57:343 (1,2,3) - Move triple to x:80 y;332
00:59:176 (5,6) - Reduce the spacing on this a bit as well
01:41:759 - You could have added an object here as the song has a small snare there that would fit best to continue the stream
02:28:676 (1) - I mean at first this slider looked like a circle, the overlap is really hard to read like this, my suggestion is to follow the square on the same anti-clockwise pattern and then placing 02:29:343 (1) - somewhere else to avoid this overlap afterwards

Ambient:
01:05:843 (3) - Place this slider higher for less confusing overlap, still would look good
01:06:343 (5) - Turn the end of this slider towards the next circle to avoid a weird curve in movement
01:12:676 (5) - You could move ths closer and a bit parallel to the previous triple so the jump isnt so high

That's it really, the reason why i didn't say the same type of spacings on later parts of the map is simply because those are more intense parts of the map, so obviously they are no needed to change.

Sorry for small mod, its a really good collab imo.
Hope it helped!

00:50:593 (6,1) - Give these 2 more spacing for a consistent spacing and so it comes closer to circle 2 without ruining playability prefer it as is, the previous one had larger spacing to emphasize the music there
00:53:509 (2) - This one closer as well, or alternatively making slider 00:53:343 (1) - have a direct line to circle 2 moved closer
00:54:176 (7,8) - That's a pretty mean jump imo, i suggest making it closer to the incoming stack, or unstacking the following objects and making them a stream line with low-medium spacing in between them. I think the jump is fair, I tried some other stuff but still came back to this
00:56:843 (8,9) - Switch positions of timing between these 2 sliders and it becomes alot more easy to read since spacing from slider 7 to 8 and turn made it confusing to play pattern is this way because 8 -> 9 needs more emphasis than 7 ->8, readable imo
00:57:343 (1,2,3) - Move triple to x:80 y;332 but stack ;;

modding Ambient's parts
[upstairs spook]
  1. feel like 01:06:759 - should be mapped as its a pretty loud, maybe turn 01:06:676 (1) - into a 1/4 slider + a single
  2. 01:09:343 (1) - feel like rhythm can be improved here, sound here is muuuch weaker than the rest of the stream 01:09:009 (5,6,7,8) - the note it ends on here 01:09:426 - is also stronger than the note it starts on, maybe try using the same rhythm as I did here? 00:47:676 (5,6,1,2) -
    same situation here I guess 01:19:676 (5,6,7,8,1) -
  3. 01:13:343 (1,2) - not 100% this fits very well rhythm wise, 01:13:593 (2) - starts on the weakest note within the bar while this 01:13:676 - one of the stronger notes isn't clickable. I'd recommend changing the second repeat slider to something else. Same applies to here 01:24:259 (2) -
  4. 01:15:676 (3,4,5,6,1) - could make this prettier :^)
  5. 01:54:843 (1,2) - move this slightly further away for more emphasis?
  6. 01:57:843 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - my main problem with this is the fact that there is such a huge jump to 01:58:093 (2) - without much in the music to support it. It also doesn't read as a 1/4 very well or play well considering the direction of the stream. I'd recommend starting the stream on 01:58:009 - and shortening 01:57:843 (1) - to a 1/4
  7. 02:00:676 (1) - not too sure on the rhythm here, 02:00:009 (1,2,3,4) - you've been following the guitar mostly here so I think it might be better to start this stream 02:00:926 - here as that matches the guitar. 02:00:676 (1) - shortening this by 1/4 will also mean you get to map this note 02:00:843 - which is pretty strong imo.
  8. 02:01:176 (6) - to follow the guitar maybe turn 02:01:176 (6,7) - into a 1/4 slider?
  9. 02:34:176 (5) - feel like this slider could start 1/2 later to match the held guitar sound as well as the strong beat it starts on it. Change 02:34:176 - to just a single?
  10. 02:46:009 (6,7) - maybe try the same rhythm I did here 02:24:676 (1,2,3) -? It's not 100% musically correct now that I listen to at 25% it but I still think it fits quite well.
  11. 02:51:843 (4) - fine as is but could change to a 1/4 slider + single, having 02:52:009 - clickable would be nice
  12. 03:35:676 (1) - again fine as is but imo would be better somewhere like (428,304)
  13. 04:17:676 (1,2,3,4,5) - hm just for consistency with how the other streams are maybe move it here? https://puu.sh/uESXy.png
  14. 04:35:176 (2,3,4,5,6,7) - try this https://puu.sh/uET4T.png this way the kick sliders match up with the guitar
  15. 04:39:176 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - thiiiis doesn't really line up with the music. 04:39:176 (1) - isn't really anything here to justify that much of a change, if anything it should start here 04:39:342 (3) -. Additionally 04:39:676 (7) - probably should be empty as there are no new sounds here. try this https://puu.sh/uETjT.png
