Problem Details:
Alright so for the past couple of days I've attempted to stream osu but to no avail. Every time I try to stream osu, the game crashes.

The specs for my laptop are
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700HQ CPU @ 2.60GHz
16.0 GB of Ram
Nividia GTX 960M
Windows 10

I'm playing osu fullscreen
1920x1080

Video or screenshot showing the problem:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1eUlJBTpXHU

osu! version: 20160805.3 (latest)
I also have the latest version of obs, v0.658b

If anyone knows anything that will help, please let me know
Lacrimosa
After replicating the crash, open the Event Viewer. There should be a log about it under Windows Logs -> Application. Copy its contents and paste them here, so we can take a look at the issue.

Not exactly. That's the log for OBS. Paste the log for osu!.
Starrodkirby86
Did OBS crash too? I haven't used that plugin before, but the beginning of that log seems to claim something is amiss with the CLR Browser Plugin. Based on searches, it seems that problem is really broad, though, but basically it can't find your browser's settings at the location it expects it. :?

If you were to do a test stream with that plugin disabled, does it still crash?

No obs is fine. Nothing happens to it. and yes I can stream other games

Try this. Right click on your osu! folder and select "Properties". Then, "Security" -> "Edit..." and enable full control for the folder.

Also, try running osu! in compatibility mode.

Probably because you are on fullscreen mode. But since you are recording osu! as game capture, it should work fine. Did you try alt-tabbing a few times to check if they black screen changes?

Also try to do a "test" stream. I'm positive that it will run fine.

So I found this (https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/la ... irst.5965/) and tried it out, it works for running the game without compatibility mode. So it's no longer crashing when i try to stream(Sike) but I'm still met with a black screen when i try to preview it or stream :/

After doing what was said in the link you mentioned above? Without Compatibility mode enabled?

We now need to scroll through it (like when you posted an incorrect log) which might cause us to scroll beyond important information
Select the text when editing a post, and click on spoilerbox on the top
