Hitsounding
  1. gonna need atleast some hitsounding in order to get it ranked man :D, since theres a constant loud drum I'd mainly use additions in this case
  2. addtions soft finish examples: 01:11:990 (1) - and 01:15:418 (1) - these are the louder cymbals right at the start of a new section in the song so deserve a hitsound here
  3. a form of claps: 01:16:275 (1,2) - 01:19:704 (1,3) - hear how the head of the sliders and the following note have these drum beats that stand out? You could add a clap (N/S/D whichever fits best for you) to make them even further stand out also stuff like 02:11:418 (1,2) - reaalllly need a clap/hitsound with how they are completely different then the rest of the segment
  4. for whistles it can be trickier, for this song you could add some soft whistles on the head of 04:06:847 (2) - and 04:10:275 (2) - for example or on the piano parts of the song like 04:22:561 (3,5) -
Future Month

  1. while playing I noticed mainly a lot of NC problems and emphazing problems and some snap problems so hope gonna focus on these for now and minor aesthetics stuff ofc bc why not :D
  2. 01:12:561 (3,3) - stack these used for the same blanket
  3. 01:21:132 (3,4,5,6,7,8,1) - (8) deseres more spacing here, its still building up to (1) in the song so I don't know why you decided to drop the sv here
  4. 01:22:275 (1,2,3,4) - this kind of patterns are really hard to read and doesn't represent the pause in the song very well imo since you make it seem like its 1-2-3-4 while you can hear its more of 1-1-2-3 in the song, why not try stacking 2 under 1 and make the jump on 3 and 4, this way you create a pause aswell and its follows the music more
  5. 01:40:275 - why not start a return slider here and delete 01:40:418 (1) - I would'nt ignore the drums here since there isnt a guitar to conceal the sound here aswell and with the return you also follow that snare sound
  6. 01:47:704 (6,1) - emphasizes is on 1 in the song so reduce the ds of 6 a bit so 1 is the biggest ds here
  7. 01:47:990 (1,2,3,4) - basicly same as 01:22:275 (1,2,3,4) the stacking of 2-3 and then the jump to 4 is kinda weird since they are 3 identical sounds so would make 01:48:275 (2,3,4) - the same ds here with 1 standing out like the song suggests

General

  1. this song is in 3/4 time signature! (except for the intro, you can leave the first redline at 4/4)
  2. re-snap your green lines!
  3. check your blankets
  4. get some custom samples, what you've hitsounded so far sounds pretty bad with default samples. also i recommend not using the samples most metal maps use cause those are pretty bad imo
  5. i'd recommend not using drum as your main sample set even if you are using full custom samples because a few skins, including the default, use different sample types (whistle -> cymbal; finish and clap -> toms) for the drum set which makes maps that use drum samples sometimes sound terrible when not using the custom samples
  6. use soft hitsounds for the calm parts
  7. actually hitsound this thing
  8. if you wanna be extra fancy, get some more combo colors and colorhax to match the storyboard

Future Month

  1. 01:16:275 (1) - sliders like this look pretty awkward, i'd recommend making these 'wiggles' only at the start of sliders if they're this harsh
  2. 01:48:275 (2,3,4) - 01:49:132 (2,3,4) - either stack these or make them jumps like previously, using about the same spacing as streams is just going to make them awkward to read
  3. 02:41:132 (1) - 02:42:847 (1) - 02:44:561 (1) - 02:46:275 (1) - etc. - try to make sliders as long as these a bit fancier, you can use things like making parts of the slider blankets and then going off in another direction, wave sliders, multiple linear segments, etc.
  4. 02:52:847 (1,2) - 02:56:275 (1) - 02:59:704 (1,2) - 03:03:132 (1) - i'd make these all the same, either all jumps or all sliders
  5. 03:57:847 (8) - make this a wiggly slider instead of a repeat slider

Hi, even if this map is dead, I was going to map it on Taiko and noticed that the timing is slightly wrong (just in case you decide to revive it)

I just took a small break cuz holidays and stuff. I was going to work on hitsounds after my return. Thanks for noticing my map, and for comment :D. It's still my flag map and i'm going for rank. If you want to make a taiko ver of this, you can make a gd on this if you want. I'll be happy to include it.

Firstly, this seems kinda overmapped, so maybe nerf some jumps. However the streams are shaped perfectly (: Here are just a few suggestions, feel free to leave some things be if you don't agree with me!

  2. 01:13:304 - Add a clap. It follows the same kick that 01:13:447 - is following.
  3. 01:13:733 - and 01:14:019 - I would recommend moving these two a bit closer together, considering that at 01:13:947 - this reverse slider is facing the complete opposite direction of where you have to go, in order to hit 01:14:019 - . In addition to moving them closer together, I would also say you should Ctrl+G 01:13:733 - , for the reason I just stated above. Since quite frankly, it doesn't flow all too well, when they're in two different directions like this.
  4. 01:14:590 - and 01:14:733 - These two notes feel rather weak with just a jump here. The rhythm here is quite similar to the reverse slider you had at 01:13:733 - . So instead of a jump between 01:14:590 - and 01:14:733 - , I would recommend you make it a triplet instead. It makes your rhythmic choices here a bit more consistent.
  5. 01:15:447 - and 01:16:304 - These slider shapes could easily be improved to be a bit more curved, and aesthetically pleasing.
  6. 01:18:019 - and 01:18:161 - This jump has the same issue as 01:14:590 - and 01:14:733 -.
  7. 01:18:876 - This slider shape looks pretty cramped, but I get the kind of feeling you were going for with the zig zags. Possibly try to neaten this up a bit.
    Also on the topic of this slider, why not have a normal whistle for the slider slide here? It seems to fit quite well with the guitar.
  8. 01:19:304 - / 01:19:447 - / 01:19:590 - This jump is really uncomfortable to do. Since it goes up and to the right at such a sheer angle, then back down to the left at a similar angle. I'd recommend making this a bit more triangular so the flow isn't as weird here.
  9. 01:20:304 - Aesthetically wise, this would look a lot better overlapping 01:20:019 - .
  10. 01:20:590 - and 01:20:876 - Have the same issue as 01:13:733 - and 01:14:019 -.
