Very nice song :3 reminds me of something I'd hear in Kingdom Hearts in like a winne the pooh level ʕ•ᴥ•ʔっ
[ZLO's Hard]00:23:101 (3) - This would be better as a wavy slider. I'm not the best at these but something like
this might work.
00:39:970 (5,6,1) - Maybe minor but it could mimic the light curve from 00:38:471 (3) - a lot better by moving 00:39:970 (5) - to 347 / 50 00:40:158 (6) - to 430 / 63 and 00:40:345 (1) - to 485 / 126. No other notes need to be moved this way.
Flow is nice :3 (just to demonstrate the slider as a reference.)
00:53:841 (4,5,6) - Not a fan of the flow here and so far this map has been all about it. Probably the easiest solution is to change 00:53:091 (3,4) - to a different shape so that 4 kinda drops off to 5 and 6 better and still mirrors 3. May be a bit challenging but worth it for sure. Maybe another wave slider :v
01:02:089 (3,4) - Personally I feel these could be upward curvy sliders like you did 00:56:090 (3,4) - and 00:59:089 (3,4) - Just because it better compliments the spacial feel of these long notes by the little twinkling instrument and the complimenting violin. Something like
this works.
01:03:588 (5,6,7,8,1) - Readjust 6 7 8 and 1 slightly to make a wider, more even arc. You might have to shift the rest of the combo up slightly to keep the 1.2 spacing even but since the spinner comes right after it's not a hard change. Anyway 01:03:775 (6) - would be at 126 / 31, 01:03:963 (7) - at 210 / 36, 01:04:150 (8) - at 281 / 80 and 01:04:338 (1) - at 313 / 158.
01:05:088 (3,4,1) - I can see why you mapped 4 but in that case I'd rather tap a note on 01:05:837 (1) - . I also brought that up because (and this is more of my personal preference so you might not want to do this) but I feel like instead of a spinner you can better represent the open violin (viola? string instrument thing) with some .8x SV long sliders. Actually maybe even without the SV change too but basically a long slider starting 01:05:837 - ending 01:06:775 - then 1/2 notes and another long slider starting on 01:07:524 - (this would be the one with the SV change if you want) and ending it 01:09:211 - . This way you can also map the 1/2 note on 01:09:399 - like you did in the rest of the section.
Very nice map. Good flow and Fun DT but the song sounds nice so I won't DT it :3
[Normal]Should consider using OD4 (maybe 5?) and at least HP4. Very big gap from this diff to the hard and currently those two are pretty easy settings for a normal.
Make sure to hitsound :v
00:04:919 (4,5) - I see you are following the little plucked violin thing whatever that is (lol) but this is a bit hard to read in this way. I suggest adding a note on 00:04:731 - which compliments the guitar playing here too and makes it readable to players. Then it could look like
this with pretty even spacing.
00:09:230 (5) - Might be my opinion only but I feel for a song as open, happy and ambient as this, flat and sharp sliders aren't very complimenting. Flat linear sliders are ok once in a while but I don't think sharp sliders go very well with this song at all imo.
00:16:353 (2) - I think this would be better as a 1/1 slider. Then this would look like a wavy slider and you can add a note on 00:17:477 -
00:19:539 (2) - Consider removing. No real sound here and the violin is more prominent so this should be empty.
00:23:850 (6,1) - Turn this into a 1/1 slider. Compliments the long 2/1 hold from the violin.
00:27:974 (4,5,6,7) - Move 00:27:974 (4) - to x:360 y:312 and adjust the end point so it still points to the slider. I also copied 5 because I feel you can follow the little twinkling instrument better by changing this to a 2/1 slider, then a note on 00:29:474 - and another 2/1 slider starting at 00:29:849 to emphasize the violin just like with 00:16:353 (2) -
Also the shape on the slider is a bit strange for a normal (that little square thing at the top)
00:39:970 (4,5) - This plays pretty poorly for a normal. Highly suggest sticking to the pattern you have at 00:36:596 (3,4,5) - If you wanted to mix up the pattern you could also do something like
this instead.
00:42:595 - 00:42:969 - 00:43:344 - Consider mapping those parts. Or at least 00:43:344 - Since it's a strong sound.
00:44:094 (3,4) - Just a small suggestion but also consider changing this to a 1/1 slider. This way players don't have to single tap 4 notes which could be a bit challenging for the targetted players.
00:46:343 (1) - 1/2 slider repeat doesn't really compliment the violin well. 1/1 slider would work better.
00:52:529 (2) - Delete note. No sound here. Then you can stack 00:52:716 (3) - over 1 as well. It should read well but it might require moving 4 slightly. Would look something like
this01:16:373 (2) - Flows poorly into the next notes. Consider rotating 1 and 2 by maybe 20-25% clockwise (resnap distance of course)
01:17:534 (3,4,5,6) - This might be a bit challenging because it's a 4 note tap but mostly because 01:18:308 - is a very strong sound. A nice pattern that accentuates the violin and makes the single tap feel good is something like
this where the big notes (usually the odd number white ticks) are highlighted and these notes feel natural to tap. You should definitely consider this pattern for this section from 01:09:211 - 01:17:534 -
[Easy]Also make sure to hitsound :v
00:05:856 - This should definitely be mapped. Maybe consider using the pattern you used at 00:01:358 (1,2,3,4) - if you want.
00:12:979 (1) - Arguably I would say you should start the slider at 00:13:354 - and make it a 1/1 slider only but if you want to map 00:12:979 - then consider changing this to a 1/1 slider and repeat because 00:13:354 - is very important.
00:23:476 (3) - Same as above. 00:23:850 - Is pretty strong. What I suggest here is
this which puts more emphasis on the 2/1 cello and the big sounds from the violin too.
00:33:597 (2,1) - For this I suggest removing the repeat from 2 and doing the same thing you did for 00:31:348 (1) - with a 2/1 slider/repeat like
this. Symmetric patterns of 2s are very nice to have for easy/normal diffs because they are friendly and help players understand the rhythm much more easily.
00:51:592 (4,1,2,3,4) - I recommend
this pattern. Plays much better and feels natural.
00:55:341 - Really like the spinners here :3
Solid set overall. A few patterns could be improved but other than that very well done.
