I think a sort by (user) play count option would be convenient for not only maps they commonly play, but maps they used to play a lot. I just don't feel that sort by recently played does a well enough job, and this is really easy to implement too.
What? Do you mean sorting by global playcount? Or personal playcount? I don't get this idea and I see no need for it in any of these ways

Personal play count, like the historical part of a player's profile. I think it would be nice to find which maps you've played most, especially since the historical tab only shows like 10 maps.
