While I am already helping out with several of the larger projects (osu!stats, osu!sig, osu!skins), in the interest of helping people who are developing cool utilities and services that are related to osu!, I want to make an official hosting offer.

Application Criteria:
- You are running a service related to osu! from shared or a personal PC.
- The service must already be in use and have a fair number of users.
- Project is open source (exceptions may be made on a per-case basis).
- Contributing in a positive way to the osu! community.

Server offer:
- A private VM on digitalocean (512mb RAM / 1 core / 20GB ssd)
- Fully redundant MySQL database (up to 1gb) on the same framework osu! runs.

Applications will be accepted on a per-case basis. Contact me by email if interested with as much detail as possible.

cool ! just when i thought running a VM would be hard for minor since they can't get a cc for real.

a silly question though, just to make sure, does they get 1 VM per one person or everyone will be using that 1 VM?

osu!record would be a nice idea. o.o Though I'm not sure if the creator wants this. There are problems with the server and stuff and currently (or at least a week ago it only updated the title screen) but its a nice youtube uploader for .osr files.

/I hope my post won't be deleted. q.q

Would this mean that devs get a free Server for Osu! ports 0.0 <3 :) :) :) :)

OH GOD YES

I'm doing some sort of easier tournament-management thing. Might ask for this when project is at a stable stage.

oh wow
that means I may be able move my current projects here?
edit:
osu!pd: db is ~200 MiB for recording historical player data
osu!Top50: 900 MiB and growing for all beatmaps
osu!mp: lol it's not even done XD

yes almost the same, but what I want to do is comparing players by Top50 ranks they have and the ability to notify people when they lost their Top50s

edit: also saving historical data
