Insane
  1. 00:02:782 (1) - remove this I think it's not need this note

(very much blanket you need to fix... I'll skip this suggestion)
  6. 00:54:130 (1,2,3) - I think circle in 1/8 note is not good for play consider to change to slider
  7. 01:22:293 (4) - move to x:192 y:132 to stack with 01:21:222 (1)'s head

Hi there from queue!

[General]
-It would be better if you used 1/4 dividers instead of 1/8
- You should add "marathon" to the tags since this is only one difficulty, so this beatmap goes to pending despite having only one difficulty. Also, you can name the difficulty whatever you want too!

[Insane]
Overall - You should add more breaks, since this is a pretty long beatmap!
00:17:089 (3,1) - The overlap here between these two sliders are a bit weird, it would be better if you moved them apart!
00:58:569 (1) - Remove NC
01:05:610 (4) - Stack this slider head perfectly with the end of the 01:06:528 (1) slider
01:27:651 (1) - Remove NC
01:43:569 (1,2,3) - I think the jumps here is a bit too big, consider moving these closer together
01:55:049 (1) - Remove NC here, add NC at 01:55:508
02:00:406 (1,2) - Remove overlap
In the beatmap, it would be better to place NC right on the white ticks!

Oh Intense. :D

00:59:105 (8)
02:29:105 (4)
02:32:166 (1) - So these need to be moved one notch to the left and get moved on the playing field accordingly. Otherwise the objects sound off

02:34:079 (7)
03:02:855 (5) - Same with these but to the right.

I'd put most of the fast notes closer together. They seem just as far away as the slower notes. It can get very confusing. Try using distance snap to get an idea of what I mean.

Also I recommend changing the background. The objects get lost very easily in this one.

I hope that helps. :D

Hello there. Took me a while to get to this map on my queue.

Apologize for the bad mod

[Hana Emi]
00:03:773 (3,4) - So, this kind of overlap is a bit ugly, as well as the curve after the red anchor on slider 3. Also, I would think that slider 4 is a bit too close. I see you're going for that "slow start" at the beginning, but even the distance need not be this small. Blanket slider 4 around slider 3's end.

00:08:365 - Is it a bad thing if you increase the volume in stages starting here? I do not like to know that the feedback of the first few notes here is the piano in the song.

00:12:651 (1,2) - Too close. This goes for 00:13:569 (3,4) - as well. There is no need for you to slow down the cursor movement so greatly if it's going to end up with overlapping horror.

00:15:712 (2) - Suggestion of this note at coordinates [264,336]

00:28:263 (3) - Blanket around 00:27:344 (1) - a bit better.

00:37:140 (5,6) - Why is this so close and then 00:39:589 (1,2) - so far? Would rather recommend constant distance spacing, even if it's an insane marathon.

00:42:038 (1,2) - Ugly slider with an ugly blanket. Also, circle 2 is too close. I know I'm saying this a lot but, it's to avoid any possible confusion.

00:54:283 (1) - You could map the piano before this. Just so that it fits with 00:59:105 (8,1) - later.

01:15:712 (3) - ctrl+g

01:16:018 (4) - ctrl+g

01:16:324 (1) - Suggestion of the coordinates at [216,352] if you attempted the ctrl+g's above, then 01:16:477 (2) - at [336,264]. The way I look at this, it's a better flow and much nicer.

01:21:222 (1) - Avoid the overlap with 01:20:916 (3) - . Just move it up a bit higher, and then blanket it better.

01:30:712 (5,6) - Ugly overlap, and slider 6 is an ugly slider. Not only that, 01:32:242 (7) - is a bad blanket.

01:53:059 (1) - Honestly I'm not sure what this slider is for. For the vocals? No, it still looks unfitting to the vocals.

02:02:855 (1,2) - These sliders are unfitting and do not blanket well.

02:04:844 (5) - Either put it inside of the slider end, or do not make this too close with the slider.

02:11:426 (2) - ctrl+g

02:16:630 (4) - Move it away just to avoid the overlap. Sure, it's against the slider velocity, but I would strongly ask you to do so.

02:30:559 (3) - Suggestion to be at coordinates [92,204] to keep the mouse moving. I would usually not do 02:30:406 (2,3,4) - as what it originally was because the jump is too probably too big. Also, it's just a weird flow of the hand.

02:36:375 (6) - Blanket it better.

02:46:324 (5) - What kind of ugly slider is this?

02:50:610 (4,5,1) - Unfitting overlaps here and there...

02:58:365 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - Suddenly a stream of 1/3 popped up! 01:33:467 - could actually almost be the same as this, with a stream.

03:31:936 (6,7) - Not a good blanket, in my opinion.

03:44:793 (3,4) - Slider 3 is too close the slider 2 and slider 4 is just the same as slider 3. I suggest reducing the distance spacing in stages here if you want to head into 03:45:406 (5) -

04:08:365 (3) - Curve it a bit more the blanket the end of the next slider.

04:16:018 (5) - Does not sound well when it ends on the blue tick. Even the vocals end faster than the slider ending on the blue tick. Shorten it to half a slider, or you can quieten the slider end of this one.

04:19:232 (3,5) - Make them parallel.

04:22:753 (2) - Suggestion at coordinate [0,196] to avoid that minor overlap.

04:37:447 (2,3,4) - They're awfully close even if you are aiming for a slow movement.

04:49:385 (1,2,3,4) - Turn down the volume of these slider ends, and the same goes for this 04:54:283 (1,2,3,4) - because hey, it would sound better, probably.

05:00:712 (1,2,3,4,5) - Why is this part of the stream so straight?

[END OF MOD]
Well other than the slider ugliness, some distance spacing problems and whatnot, this map is pretty much... no comment.

Work hard!

01:15:712 (3) - ctrl+g fixed

01:16:018 (4) - ctrl+g fixed

01:16:324 (1) - Suggestion of the coordinates at [216,352] if you attempted the ctrl+g's above, then 01:16:477 (2) - at [336,264]. The way I look at this, it's a better flow and much nicer. fixed

01:21:222 (1) - Avoid the overlap with 01:20:916 (3) - . Just move it up a bit higher, and then blanket it better. fixed

01:30:712 (5,6) - Ugly overlap, and slider 6 is an ugly slider. Not only that, 01:32:242 (7) - is a bad blanket. this was an extremely ugly part, ty for pointing it out

01:53:059 (1) - Honestly I'm not sure what this slider is for. For the vocals? No, it still looks unfitting to the vocals. fixed

02:02:855 (1,2) - These sliders are unfitting and do not blanket well. fixed

02:04:844 (5) - Either put it inside of the slider end, or do not make this too close with the slider. fixed

02:11:426 (2) - ctrl+g fixed

02:16:630 (4) - Move it away just to avoid the overlap. Sure, it's against the slider velocity, but I would strongly ask you to do so. fixed

02:30:559 (3) - Suggestion to be at coordinates [92,204] to keep the mouse moving. I would usually not do 02:30:406 (2,3,4) - as what it originally was because the jump is too probably too big. Also, it's just a weird flow of the hand. i see what you mean, fixed

02:36:375 (6) - Blanket it better. fixed

02:46:324 (5) - What kind of ugly slider is this? it wasnt that ugly :D fixed

02:50:610 (4,5,1) - Unfitting overlaps here and there... fixed

02:58:365 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - Suddenly a stream of 1/3 popped up! 01:33:467 - could actually almost be the same as this, with a stream. no one likes 1/3 streams, fixed

03:31:936 (6,7) - Not a good blanket, in my opinion. fixed

03:44:793 (3,4) - Slider 3 is too close the slider 2 and slider 4 is just the same as slider 3. I suggest reducing the distance spacing in stages here if you want to head into 03:45:406 (5) - fixed

04:08:365 (3) - Curve it a bit more the blanket the end of the next slider. fixed

04:16:018 (5) - Does not sound well when it ends on the blue tick. Even the vocals end faster than the slider ending on the blue tick. Shorten it to half a slider, or you can quieten the slider end of this one. it was to loud, so i just shortened it to a half slider instead

04:19:232 (3,5) - Make them parallel. fixed

04:22:753 (2) - Suggestion at coordinate [0,196] to avoid that minor overlap. seems like i have a problem with overlapping, fixed

04:37:447 (2,3,4) - They're awfully close even if you are aiming for a slow movement. fixed

04:49:385 (1,2,3,4) - Turn down the volume of these slider ends, and the same goes for this 04:54:283 (1,2,3,4) - because hey, it would sound better, probably. yeah they do sound better, fixed

05:00:712 (1,2,3,4,5) - Why is this part of the stream so straight? made it circular

[END OF MOD]
Well other than the slider ugliness, some distance spacing problems and whatnot, this map is pretty much... no comment.

Work hard!
thanks a lot for the map, its alright that it took so long, atleast you did it. the mod was very helpful :D i still got a lot to learn about spacing and overlapping

From my queue

  1. Check AiMod, you've still got a couple unsnapped objects
  2. The HANATAN2.jpg is 1920x1200, should scale it down below 1366x768.
  3. 00:06:834 (1,2,3,4) - A little overmapped as there's nothing where you have 2 or 4, but it seems to play well so it should be fine
  4. 03:53:977 (3) - The blanket is off by a bit
  5. 04:48:161 (4) - ^
  6. 04:53:059 (4) - It might look better if this was blanketed around 3
  7. 04:56:732 (5) - Check blanket

Sorry for the short mod, but I wasn't able to find much to take issue with.

Good luck with your map

  2. The HANATAN2.jpg is 1920x1200, should scale it down below 1366x768. ive tried scaling it down, but when i put it in the osu file, it bumps back up to 1920x1200, its really wierd
  3. 00:06:834 (1,2,3,4) - A little overmapped as there's nothing where you have 2 or 4, but it seems to play well so it should be fine i see what you mean, but i think it fits the song well

  • Hi, from queue :3 thanks for your m4m!!
i've modded this song twice lol p/3244438#p3244438

    [General]

  1. Your bg resolution seems a bit different from most maps (1228x767 whee). Usually bg size is either 1366x768 or 1024x768 with usual ratio of 4:3 or 16:9 according to ranking criteria https://osu.ppy.sh/wiki/Ranking_Criteria#Skinning (idk why they wrote 852x480 when it should be 853x480). I suggest to change your current bg to 1366x768, and change the sb elements (like HANATAN2.jpg and w.png) into 853x480. It usually works, especially for storyboarding
  2. Change your artist unicode into "花たん" and Romanised Artist "Hanatan"
  3. ok idk why the Source is 'Flower' since it's definitely not from a series/game
  4. Remove 'hanatan' from Tags, it's already in Romanised Artist. Consider adding 'doriko' because he's the composer and 'vocaloid'
[Hana Emi]

  1. Overall, for a mellow song, this map is really 'jumpy' and suddenly it's not a mellow song anymore lol. Very subjective though, but i would choose to lower the AR into 8.5 and mapped it less erratically, but yeah it's all up to you 8-)
  2. 00:17:549 (1,3) - 00:24:896 (1,3) - 01:43:263 (1,2) - 02:04:079 (4) - 02:26:120 (5,6) - 02:28:416 (3) - 02:31:018 (5,6) - 02:32:702 (3) - 02:46:324 (5) - 02:49:385 (1) - 02:50:610 (4) - 02:54:283 (1) - 04:34:691 (1) - tbh these kind of random slider shape can be a big boulder in your path :') well idk based on personal experiences, most experienced modders will point these kind of sliders and told you to change it. Well yeah if there are many modders who point this out, then you should probably consider to change these
  3. 00:04:691 (4) - pretty much blanket nazi. you can actually improve this by moving this slider one grid to the left
  4. 00:08:365 (2,3,4,1,2,3) - i'm aware that these jumps are to emphasize the crescendo in the music. But as the beginning of the song, these jumps are a bit too intense. Only suggestion for 00:08:365 (2,3,4) - http://puu.sh/aEhzX/965c793bd1.jpg i lowered the spacing a bit, and i suppose it's enough the emphasize the crescendo. i'm not good at arranging circles though lol. and if you follow, you might want to arrange 00:09:283 (1,2,3) - too http://puu.sh/aEhKE/53d9e23a43.jpg
  5. 00:12:651 (1,2) - it's really hard to notice it's actually 1/4 beat away because of the spacing  well i'm not really a skilled player, so you might want to blame my horrible sightreading skill. Only suggestion http://puu.sh/aEi5y/b40bb82518.jpg
  6. 00:13:569 (3,4) - same as above hue
  7. 00:16:018 (3) - only suggestion about slider's shape http://puu.sh/aEig4/8f87048307.jpg
  8. 00:19:998 - i don't see a reason to decrease the slider's velocity. idk it's kinda awkward when i play it, since there's no definite changes in the music :?
  9. 00:23:977 (4,5,6) - only suggestion http://puu.sh/aEjeI/94346e0a54.jpg no guarantee with the flow tho
  10. 00:27:344 (1,2) - this anti-jump is really awkward if we compare it with another pattern with the same rhythm like 00:15:100 (1,2) -
  11. 00:29:870 (1) - end at 00:33:161 - ?
  12. 00:34:691 (1,2) - only opinion, the rhythm is kinda overmapped for me :( since the music is really quiet here, and i suppose it isn't really necessary to emphasize 00:35:610 - by adding a circle. it kinda makes it quite awkward to play. ending the slider at 00:35:610 - is more than enough
  13. 00:37:140 (5,6) - same situation like above
  14. 00:39:589 (1,2) - ^
  15. 01:18:008 - add a note? i'm missing something to click here :(
  16. 01:18:161 (1,3) - switch nc? to emphasize the cymbal noises at 01:18:773 (3) - . If you follow, you might want to make a jump between 01:18:467 (2,3) -
  17. 01:27:651 (5,6,7) - only suggestion. i would place (6) at 01:27:191 (4) - 's head and then adjust the triangle a bit http://puu.sh/aEkyD/8bdc7b7b3e.jpg if you follow, then you can make a better anti-jump at 01:27:957 (7,1) -
  18. 01:31:018 - idk the sv change is kinda weird since the instrument indicates no change at all. it's only the hold-vocal, but yeah it plays well so it's up to you
  19. 01:45:253 (1,3) - switch nc? to emphasize the cymbal noises at 01:45:712 (3) - . If you follow, remove nc at 01:46:630 (1) -
  20. 01:51:528 (4,5) - i suggest to make them parallel. It makes better appearance
  21. 01:53:059 - same sv awkwardness like before lol 01:31:018 - but then again it's up to you
  22. 01:54:283 (2) - a bit really hard to read here, since the music is really focused at the drums at this part, and idk what you're following at this beat
  23. 02:06:222 (1) - remove nc? kinda weird when 02:05:304 (1) - is alone like that lol
  24. 02:12:651 (1) - again, same sv awkwardness. just pointing out
  25. 02:34:487 (9) - end at 02:34:691 -
  26. 02:57:957 (4) - i suggest to change this slider into kick sliders like 02:58:263 (5) -
  27. 03:23:365 (4,5) - i suggest to change the rhythm pattern and start the kick-slider at 03:23:671 - , since the piano starts at 03:23:671 -
  28. 03:29:947 - add a note, since it's the kiai and it's better to make the rhythm dense
  29. 03:43:263 (10,1) - switch nc
  30. 03:44:181 (1) - the anti-jump and the overlap is kinda awkward. i suggest to move it farther than the previous slider
  31. 03:45:712 (1,2) - same sv awkwardness like before. just pointing out
  32. 03:45:712 (1,2) - i strongly suggest to add a note here. kinda weird when it's empty
  33. 04:28:569 (4,5) - i prefer not to overlap them. and it can make the jump more fun
  34. 04:29:181 (6,7) - maybe stack them to emphasize the anti-jump? makes it easier to notice it'
  35. 04:38:059 (3,4) - only suggestion, make them the same shape by copypaste
  36. 05:26:885 (4,5) - this is too cruel  i strongly suggest to lower the distance

    Hitsound suggestions
  37. 00:12:651 (1) - finish at slider's head. to emphasize the beginning of new verse
  38. 00:13:569 (3) - ^, because i hear legit loud cymbals
  39. 00:15:100 (1) - ^
  40. 00:22:447 (1) - ^
  41. 01:17:396 (4) - clap at slider's head? feels nice
  42. 01:22:447 (1) - clap at slider's tail. If you follow, remove clap at 01:22:753 (2) - 's head, and add clap at 01:23:059 (3) - 's head
  43. 01:26:732 (1) - rather than clap, finish at slider's head is way more suitable with the song
  44. 01:35:916 (1) - finish at slider's head, i hear loud cymbals there
  45. 01:40:814 (1) - ^
  46. 01:44:487 (4) - finish at slider's head? kinda nice to emphasize the hitsound pattern at 01:43:263 (1,2) -
  47. 01:50:610 (1) - finish at slider's head, i hear loud cymbals there
  48. 02:00:406 (1) - ^
  49. 02:06:528 (3) - remove finish at slider's head?
  50. 02:38:365 (1) - finish at slider's head, i hear loud cymbals there
  51. 02:38:671 (2) - remove finish at slider's head, kinda weird and doesn't follow anything
  52. 02:42:651 (5) - ^
  53. 02:44:487 (1) - finish at slider's head, i hear loud cymbals there
  54. 02:49:385 (1) - ^
  55. 02:56:732 (1) - ^
  56. 02:57:957 (4) - ^
  57. 03:01:630 (1) - add finish
  58. 03:33:467 (1) - finish at slider's head, i hear loud cymbals there
  59. 03:45:100 (4) - clap at slider's head?
  60. 04:15:100 (1) - finish at slider's head, since you added finish at 04:16:324 (6) - 's head, to make it equal
  61. 04:37:140 (1) - add finish
  62. 04:40:814 (5) - add finish at slider's tail is slightly better
  63. 04:44:487 (1) - add finish
  64. 04:48:161 (4) - remove finish at slider's head, you didn't add one at 04:53:059 (4) - 's head and they're the similiar
  65. 04:51:834 (1) - finish at slider's head, i hear loud cymbals there
  66. 05:01:630 (1) - ^
hope it helps :)
goodluck~

  49. 02:06:528 (3) - remove finish at slider's head?
  50. 02:38:365 (1) - finish at slider's head, i hear loud cymbals there
  51. 02:38:671 (2) - remove finish at slider's head, kinda weird and doesn't follow anything
  52. 02:42:651 (5) - ^
  53. 02:44:487 (1) - finish at slider's head, i hear loud cymbals there

  57. 03:01:630 (1) - add finish
  58. 03:33:467 (1) - finish at slider's head, i hear loud cymbals there
  59. 03:45:100 (4) - clap at slider's head?
  60. 04:15:100 (1) - finish at slider's head, since you added finish at 04:16:324 (6) - 's head, to make it equal
  61. 04:37:140 (1) - add finish
  62. 04:40:814 (5) - add finish at slider's tail is slightly better
  63. 04:44:487 (1) - add finish
  64. 04:48:161 (4) - remove finish at slider's head, you didn't add one at 04:53:059 (4) - 's head and they're the similiar
  65. 04:51:834 (1) - finish at slider's head, i hear loud cymbals there
  66. 05:01:630 (1) - ^
hope it helps :)
goodluck~

14:17 paseli: you opened your editor already?
14:17 skinnyjimmy: yea
14:18 paseli: kay. first thing i noticed about your map is how big the distances are you use for your jumping sections
14:19 paseli: 00:11:732 (2,3,4,5,6,7) - this one's to start with
14:19 skinnyjimmy: you think the jumps are to big?
14:20 paseli: definitely. it's a calm song, you should go down with the distances a bit
14:20 paseli: it's really fun to play these jumps, but they don't fit into a song like this
14:21 skinnyjimmy: hmm i see what you mean
14:21 skinnyjimmy: but no other mods have complained about these jumps
14:21 skinnyjimmy: or the other ones
14:22 paseli: it's only the distances that are oversized a bit at some parts
14:23 skinnyjimmy: 00:12:344 (6,7) - maybe the distance between these 2 are to larege
14:23 skinnyjimmy: large
14:24 paseli: http://puu.sh/aH0mW/b7ed656138.jpg
14:25 paseli: it's the 1st jumping section, make it a bit easier for a better 'access' into the song ;)
14:25 skinnyjimmy: could you give me the coordinates of those notes?
14:26 paseli: i dunno how to copy the coordinates, i rarely handle with them in my mods xD
14:27 skinnyjimmy: hmm ok no
14:27 skinnyjimmy: np
14:28 skinnyjimmy: this is what i got right now https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/1897029
14:29 paseli: yes, that looks better
14:29 paseli: 5-6-7-8 should make a diamond pattern too for aesthetics
14:30 skinnyjimmy: yeah i agree
14:30 paseli: 00:21:834 (5,6,7,8) - the DS here is good to go, the flow's a bit breaking though
14:31 skinnyjimmy: hmm, what do you suggest i change about this
14:32 skinnyjimmy: i see this hand motion is really werid
14:32 skinnyjimmy: 00:22:293 (8,1) -
14:33 paseli: http://puu.sh/aH0Ml/4865b9c986.jpg
14:33 paseli: lets see how you like this
14:35 paseli: oh, btw, to the beginning: 00:02:778 - add a circle here to fit the piano more + 00:07:676 (6) - delete this one, there's no sound here
14:36 skinnyjimmy: 00:02:778 - there was one there before, but i was told to take it out
14:36 paseli: also, the objects till 00:08:059 - are inaudible, you should increase the volume up to 20%
14:37 paseli: yea, it's just preference, i like it more with it
14:42 paseli: 00:16:018 (3) - sliders with these 'corners don't look good in this map, try a rounder one http://puu.sh/aH1fc/a07a8698b9.jpg
14:43 paseli: 00:23:365 (3) - eh, I'm not sure what you did to this slider, but it only needs 4-5 interpolating points to form this shape, not 11 xD
14:43 skinnyjimmy: yeah im not the best at shaping sliders lol
14:44 paseli: 00:26:885 (6) - this one doesn't fit in either, just make it round like the other ones
14:44 paseli: 00:34:691 (1) - this one too
14:45 paseli: i see you use a lot of points to make more 'interesting' sliders
14:46 skinnyjimmy: yea
14:47 paseli: you don't need that many points to make good ones, see http://puu.sh/aH1w1/36b883fe7a.jpg
14:48 skinnyjimmy: wow thats easy
14:48 paseli: 00:37:140 (3) - here too. there are more of them later on, but you can use the same method there as well
14:49 skinnyjimmy: is it wronf to have to many points ?
14:49 skinnyjimmy: wrong
14:50 paseli: it's not recommended, since you can mess up your sliders easily this way
14:51 skinnyjimmy: ahh yeah i see
14:51 paseli: btw, putting two interpolating points at one position together will cause the slider to have a salient point
14:52 skinnyjimmy: what lol
14:53 paseli: the one i send you above got one, look closer
14:54 paseli: 00:48:161 (4,1,2,3) - don't use too big distances where it's not needed http://puu.sh/aH1Rp/55d44533b2.jpg
14:55 paseli: 00:50:916 (1,2,3,1) - um, I'm sure i haven't seen this last time i played this lol
14:56 skinnyjimmy: you mean like this https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/1897099
14:56 paseli: yes, exactly
14:57 paseli: 00:51:222 (2,3,1) - again to this, you should avoid overlap whereever it is possible
14:59 skinnyjimmy: maybe like this https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/1897115
15:00 paseli: not so good idea, 3 and 4 are pretty close to each other
15:01 skinnyjimmy: 00:50:304 (3,4) - but there is a noticable time gap between them
15:03 paseli: sure there is, but it fits better if you go with a bigger distance gap here
15:03 skinnyjimmy: i also moved 01:05:610 (4) - on 01:04:079 (1) - tail, i think it looks better
15:05 paseli: i don't think people will notice that stack, but okay^^
15:06 paseli: the most important thing you have to do is to rework all your strange sliders... and also:
15:07 paseli: 01:12:651 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - avoid jump sections with so many flow breaks like this zigzag one
15:08 paseli: some flow breaks in the jumps are fine, but not if it goes for every circle ._.
15:09 skinnyjimmy: ok
15:10 paseli: this is a really interesting map, so i may look on it again if you got more mods ;)
15:11 skinnyjimmy: what do you mean by interesting lol
15:12 paseli: sliders & mostly because of the jumping sections ^^
15:13 paseli: okay, that's all from me for now i hope you can do a lot of rework with this mod :p
15:14 skinnyjimmy: alright man, thanks a lot!

Good luck with your map! :)
