Maybe you should consider unifying the breaks. Not compulsory for ranking but still recommended. (I'm planning to do the same to my map too)

Well, I am editing it... But I recommend you do another map for this song too... Maybe you can make the song better? :)

UPDATE: It is back now!!! Go play them if you want to, but REMEMBER that Beautiful-Insanely mode are still not complete improved yet, so stay tune for updates! ;)

I felt like the relative distances of the notes on the highest difficulty was pretty confusing... I'd suggest using more distance snap to clean it up a bit.

LOL I found a problem here...you don't have Kiai time xD... that's why I feel that something's missing from your map.

Kiai time is something like climax and the 'double points section' in Taiko.

I have put the modified .osu files (added Kiai time only) here. Download them and replace the files in C:\Program Files\osu!\Songs\172788 Owl City - Beautiful Times

Then restart osu!...it will know how to handle these files. Then open edit mode to see what changed and try to update it :) thanks.

Oh yeah, just a quick comment...you can go to song setup, audio, and change the hit sound volume to 25%. This will make it sound better even if 100% effect volume on.

I use 50% for my map because the music is a little loud, so tweak this setting and the hit sounds will not be so horrible anymore :P

Gosh I just took a closer look at your map in the editor. One big problem - no hitsounds. The Ranking Criteria states that...

SPOILER
You must use hitsounds. Without these, things get way too monotonous as you are throwing away one of the main elements of variation present in mapping. You don't need to place them on every note (and are discouraged from doing so), but they must at least be frequently heard when playing.

So please :D You can try the 'Soft' Sampleset (found in Song Setup -> Audio) as they fit this song better. Use a clap on circles won't make it sound horrible unless you overuse it (I promise! If not just PM me and I will make a sample diff for you). Also use others so that we can find a easy to follow rhythm with the hitsounds :)

Okay I'm here (again) for a really serious mod.

1. Overall difficulty should be 2 in Easy. Overall difficulty 0 = free accuracy = SS too easy to achieve.

2. AR 3 is max for Easy ==

3. HP drain rate 4 is max for Easy ><

4. Why epilepsy warning? You don't have storyboards nor videos (change this in song setup -> Design)

5. 00:42:345 (1) - if you can avoid it, don't overlap it with the circle at 00:41:463 (5)

6. 00:44:110 (2) - overlapping slider. don't do this in easy and normal (a pre-warning)

7. 01:11:471 (2) - move it away ==

8. 01:12:353 (3) - same as ^

9. 02:01:765 (2,3,4) - use a reversed slider.

10. 02:05:295 (2,3,4) - same as ^

11. 02:42:353 (1) - overlapped in test mode TT

12. 03:07:059 (2) - if you can, make it clearly visible, that means no overlapping.

Okay so that's alll :D I'm not very sure if you are mapping to the instruments behind or the vocals. If you are mapping the vocals, then you have a lot of misplaced sliders and circles. You knew what kind of style Owl City is - they create strange timings.

About the offset - I tried offset 0 and it sounds quite nice. Not sure if I'm suffering from jet lag or what ==

Also I'm feeling quite happy for hearing the hitsounds :)

I will return soon for a Ctb guest diff, if I managed to complete it.

Hi! I stumbled across this map because I have a soft spot for Lindsey Stirling :3
So I proceeded to check it out and, well... I am impressed. I likey a lot!

There was little I could pick from this beatmap, it is already amazing!! I learned a lot from your map, since I am making a map myself ;)

BPM of map should be exactly 68. The .02 at the end throws the rest of the song out.

Easy
I think there needs to be some sort of difficulty progression (DP), even if it is slight. What I mean is, the map needs to get harder in some way to keep the player interested and, especially for easier difficulties, help them move up into harder difficulties. I understand it is an easy map and is designed to be easy, but it is the same distance between each note all the way, maybe at the end include a faster section to teach the new players how to negotiate said section. I hope that makes sense.

I have it! I tested it at 68.01 and it is as close as you're gonna get it, I think.

Edit: If you make a new timing section (that is, the timing which resets the BPM) on the last hitcircle the problems with it off-timing should be all but solved. Just set it to the normal BPM and you're all set :)
