Welcome to the OWC 2013 Betting Game. This year we''ve prepared a little game so the non-participating community part can get some fun too.
The point of it is to guess correct results of the tournament matches. You will be rewarded for guessing a correct outcome of the game (which team wins), correct final result of it and bonus-bets every round.
The game is organized for fun only, prizes are not expected to be in (though it might change in the future).

Top16 bet-makers after 2nd round of the Betting Game:
a) Basic rules of the game.
1. You don't sign-up for the game. You're added automatically along with your first bet posted in this thread.
2. Don't post anything else but bets in the thread. You can add some comment along with the bet-post, but don't write single posts not concerning the actual game. There's another thread for that.
3. You can bet a single match only once.
4. You can't edit your post after at least one of the matches from your list is already live. Doing so will result in nullifying your bets for the whole week.
5. Keep your bets organized in one single post. Edit if you want to change/add another bet. Don't notify about editing your post in the thread, I will notice it myself.
6. You don't lose anything by betting the match result incorrectly.
7. It's not necessary to bet all the matches of the week (though you have a better chance to gain points if you do).
8. Don't start betting before I allow it in the thread with an announcement post. There will be a note in the first post saying "BETTING IS ON" when you can bet, or "BETTING IS OFF" when the betting for the round is over.
9. You bet by posting the exact result of the match you think it will end with (for example: Korea 5 - 4 Japan).
b) Point scoring system.
1. You gain 50 points for guessing the outcome of the match correctly. Guessing the outcome means telling which team will win the match. If you guess the exact result incorrectly, but get the outcome right, you will gain the said 50 points.
Example: My bet on the match Japan vs Korea is 5-3 for Japan. The match ends with a result of 5-4 for Japan. I gain 50 points for guessing the outcome correctly, but nothing else because I didn't get the exact result right.
2. You gain additional 50 points for guessing the exact result correctly. Guessing the exact result means telling the exact amount of won and lost maps of both teams.
Example: My bet on the match Japan vs Korea is 5-3 for Japan. The match ends with a result of 5-3 for Japan. I gain 50 points for guessing the outcome correctly and additional 50 points for guessing the exact result too. My total pointcount of the match is 100.
3. You gain a specified amount of points by guessing bonus-bets. Bonus-bets are single, unique bets added every round. The amount of received points will vary depending on the bet.
