Sometimes Auto mod in taiko won't get the maximum score, here are the occassions:

1. When there are 2 sliders in a row (time distance between them isn't important), Auto mod will miss first tick on second slider. Similarly, if there are N sliders in a row, first tick will be missed on each slider except the first. Example map: http://osu.ppy.sh/p/beatmap?b=61024&m=1 (after combo 10, there are 5 sliders in a row, so it is easy to notice)

2. In some occassions, when spinner is long enough in HR and/or HT mode, Auto mod won't complete it, example: http://osu.ppy.sh/p/beatmap?b=8734&m=1, slider at around 72 combo (with HR + HT mod) (fixed)

Confirming.

On the Normal difficulty, mekkadosu will only get 8 strikes off the sliders when it's possible to get 9 strikes.

Edit: Spinners are absolutely broken in Hardrock/ half time in taiko for auto

For HR only, Auto clears the spinners just in time wirh OD7+HR.

This is typical as far, the Spinner is long enough. Especially long Spinner + HT won't be successfully completed by Auto.

Can't replicate #1. Have fixed #2 for next public.

Please clarify exactly how to trigger #1.

I will investigate other cases than the one the OP mentioned, but the evidence is clear about case number 1.

It's weird, auto loses the beat when it encounters sliders in this song. I know exactly what happens. auto only hits the start of the first slider, it ignores sliders that come consecutively afterwards.

S = starting note
T = tick

STTTT STTTT STTTT
Auto will hit the first S, but will ignore the second S and the third S and so on.

Max combo = 15
Auto will get 13

I'm not sure if there is some setting that is causing this to happen. I have FPS set to unlimited and am not using widescreen taiko notes, windowed.

Edit: BTW why doesn't the performance graph thing save on the replay- it's blank?
