What does "Full Modding" even mean?

How is that any different? I am requesting so that you are able to code mods that affect score, pp, accuracy, etc. That's what "scriptable" means.

In that case how about we just get the two requests merged because they are so similar? Mine is pretty much same, but leaves out the ability change patterns in the map.

Not sure why this wasn't mentioned 5 months ago, because this was definitely a thing when this was posted, but you can already create your own mods for osu!lazer (which is in C#). Some people have already done this and a few user created mods have been added to the game.

I'm positive it is already planned to have a more fleshed out system for reviewing and adding custom mods. But it's already pretty simple, just a matter of creating something and opening a PR on that repository.

It's not like the steam workshop though? These mods are just in the game. You can download lazer and use a bunch of user created mods right now.

There is no need for any publishing or voting system if they just get merged right into the official repository.
Micro - Beats
I have a mod idea!

Slot: Under Nightcore

Icon: 2 Large speakers

Mod name: Nightmare

Description: This is way too fast..

Purpose: Used as nightcore but 2x speed.

It would be like the nightcore mod and you're on autoplay with x2 speed.



Mod 2

Name: Speed up

icon: circle combo 1 with speed lines behind it

Description: Is it me or is the speed going up?

Purpose: as the time goes by the speed slightly goes up.


*UNRANKED* Mod 3

Name: Mine!

icon: programmer layout

Description: Make you're own mod! *UNRANKED*

Purpose: Customizable mod to change how osu acts!

When you click play it will open up a programing screen coded with osu's language.
Once you finish programing your mod you can save it or just play

When Saved: the mod adds a new column called "Custom".


Mod 4

Name: Scatter

icon: question mark

Description: I'm moving too fast!

Purpose: Scatters where the notes appear and randomizes where the sliders go

When you start the game notes are randomly placed and sliders are going crazy.


Mod 5

Name: Unranker

icon: ❌ under a leaderboard

Description: Where's my name on the leaderboard? *UNRANKED*

Purpose: Sets the current map data to unranked so you don't post on the leaderboard.

When you finish your beatmap the recorded data will not go on the leaderboard.


Mod 6

Name: Slow down

icon: ⏪

(Click Speed up twice or right click speed up)

Description: Now its slowing down..

Purpose: Slows the game the longer you go!

Mod 7

Name: Dupe

icon: 4k keys

Mode: Osu!Mania

Description: removes the middle and now you press both sides!

Purpose: Removes the middle block and each side has the same note at the same place.

Mod 8

Name: Gravity

icon: falling 1 combo circle

Description: What goes up must come down!

Purpose: adds gravity to the beatmap, when a note spawns it falls to the bottom of the screen

Mod 9

Name: Flip

Description For Osu!Mania for downscroll: Oh now I'm doing upscroll

Description For Osu!Mania for upscroll: Oh now I'm doing downscroll

Description For Osu!Catch: why am on the roof?

Description For Osu!Osu: uhh.. I'm not using Hard Rock..

icon: upside down circle combo 1

Purpose: Turns all osu Beatmaps upside-down

Mod 10

Slot: Under Nightmare

Name: SONIC

icon: distorted/blured combo 1 circle

Description: Okay this is fast enough!

Purpose: Makes the beatmap speed 4x faster

Mod 11

Name: SANIC

icon: Litteraly sanic

Description: NOW THIS IS WAY TOO FAST!

Purpose: makes the beatmap speed 6x times faster

Mod 12

Name: Teleport

icon: circle combo 1 in the bottom left corner, arrow pointing to the top right corner, same combo 1 circle in the bottom left corner in the top right corner

Description: Where is it going

Purpose: to confuse the player

When the player hovers over a circle it teleports to a random location (It only teleports once)

Name: Glitch

icon: combo 1 circle with glitch effect

Description: I think I have a virus..

Purpose: confuse the player with glitch effects all over the screen and sound glitching

Mod 14

Name: Blur

icon: glasses

Description: Where are granny's glasses?

Purpose: Blur everything. Even the gui

My mod ideas:

osu! STD
Adaptive Difficulty: CS, OD, HP and AR rises as you build combo but they fall as you miss lots of objects in a row.
Runaway: Circles are running away from the screen, Get them while they are there.
Spun in: Spinners are harder and more stiff.
VS: its a race against the song speeding up and completing.
Tunnel Vision: But it was just there (Fade-out mod for osu standard)
Fade-in: Circles will come to you and fade in once they get close.
Movements: But it was right there, why did it move?
Zen: Relax or train with this mod, Songs auto shuffle out of your Songs folder. NOFAIL enabled
Strict timing: This just got a whole lot less lenient.
PF Lite, Triple click on perfect: 300s or Miss, git gud :)
Slid Out: Spun out but for sliders, Just one less thing to worry about.
Minefield: Either miss completely or aim properly
Singletap: X or Z only or quit
Experimental: Hold notes and more intresting experiments
Blinded: Light mode

mania
Pulse: Notes will continously fade in and out
Backseat: Why is the playfield smaller?
Moonlit: Flashlight but the flashlight acts like the moon, the more combo you build up, the more lit the sky/playfield is.
Cut: Hold notes get divided into two
Spinning in: Notes will come drifting in at a high speed.
3 Dimensional: Mania just got a lot more complicated.

Taiko:
Flipped: I dont remember the notes like this
Vision Blocker: Notes can come off the scroller, and go onto the taiko playfield and block your vision as they come forward

CTB:
Yuzu Passout: She will need to eat the fruits occasionally, to eat press E. or she can just die and its game over
Hold it!: The catcher will meed to balance the fruits using q and e

All rulesets:
Door: Limited playfield vision, door will start to blow closed at 45 combo. Basically like blinds
