In the editor, when you make a slider over a circle, it can make an anchor automatically.

I've tried to reproduce this for the past 10 minutes, but I can't.

Your wording with "it can make an anchor automatically" kind of implies this doesn't happen all the time? Are you sure your mouse button isn't just double clicking/registering? Perhaps you should try a different mouse for a bit.

It does not, the anchor point is created around the time the slider body appears. In that particular case, it DID do it every time, but other times it will overwrite the circle.

I've still been trying to get this to happen, and no matter how many different ways I try to approach this, it hasn't happened a single time.

The only reason I can think of that would cause a note to not disappear when another note or slider is placed on top of it is because it isn't actually snapped correctly. Even after moving the note a bit to trying and replicate that situation, I still could not reproduce this at all.
